Also, in my past life working on the river, the usual schedule is 12 hours per day (either two 6 hour watches or one 12 hour watch) 7 days per week and all the additional time needed to work the boat. Overtime rules do not apply to work on boats. You have to really like the work in order to be able to do it at all. --FLO--

a night auditor does basic accounting of the day's activity, customer service, some cleaning, some security & basically anything else management can think of to keep you busy overnight.

how's this for ironic? less than 2 hrs after the previous post I made in this thread, i was told the other night auditor had quit. i think i jinxed myself.

If the business is never empty of humans then insurance rates go down. I know that for a fact.

Well... Work is O.K.

I have been hoarse and coughing since November of '13. The BOSS and family doc has me scheduled for visits with an ENT and a pulmonologist. The sputum test was normal, no growing bugs. T.B. has yet to be returned. It takes 8 days. That bacillus grows slowly. They are threatening a C.T. of the chest with contrast. The regular Chest X-ray was normal.

Hell, so I can't sing a falsetto any more. BIG DEAL! I am kind of enjoying sounding like Louis Armstrong with a cold... my girls like it... that's all that matters, anyway...
