The usefulness of electricity for cooking, and the safety of electricity for humans is dependent on a number of factors. AC or DC? What current? What voltage? How is the equipment grounded? Is the human well insulated? What current protection (fuse or breaker) is used? Etc.
I personally would not use anything powered from the wall to pass electricity through my body. If you want to experiment I would suggest using a car battery. But there are dangers there as well if you short it out, or expose the acid.
Here is some information on cooking hot dogs with electricity. Do NOT try this on your own weiner!

Also, there is NO painless method of damaging your body. Don't kid yourself.

Yes thats the real name for them. Go to e bay if you want to see one. They run on a little 9 volt battery. And are used for back pain.
And yes i have used one for hours on my penis and it has made it numb just for a short time. Cost should be under 100 Dollars new.

Yes you can use electric current to cook it, but if you don't go to ER after, the gangrene could kill you.

There was a stories posted by a guy about sticking his penis into microwave that I think was real. Just cut a hole in the door, insert penis and press the button. No idea how long it might take but from what I remember the protaganist who tried it ended up with something like a painful sunburn and some internal damage that took time to heal after about 10 seconds.
From a technical point of view, I think that there would be very significant risks associated if you went too far. From the similar experience of cooking meat in a microwave, the juices curdle pretty quickly and if you can imagine that going on in the interior for your erect penis and moving into you blood stream, you would be lucky to survive long enough to get to the ER before the blood clots got you. At very best the circulation inside the penis would just stop and you would have a painful and potentially gangrenous sausage that would require immediate removal. If you think that explaining that to the staff at the ER would be amusing just look up some of the posts from people who have done self or botched castrations and had to go for help. Somehow they didn't find it much fun.

A sane person would actually do this? This is when we have to say that mentally the person is being controlled and manipulated by his penis and not his brain - or - the brain is being controlled & manipulated to act stupidly due to huge amounts of androgens. Fantasy may lead to reality, be careful. That's what happened to me. Hash

number one the subject heading is wrong, you aren't talking about using electricity to cook a penis, you are talking about microwave radiation, no electricity...and that is purely from the realm of urban mythology. Any attempt to do something like this would most likely result in very serious and sad consequences.

My guess is that you were reading a work of fiction.
