The night of the sinking was clear with a starry sky. We know this because eyewitness accounts said the stars were reflected in the water because the night was so still and the sky so clear. No fog hovering over the water. Those are some of the most vital clues as to what really happened that night April night. The North Atlantic was glassy smooth and not choppy or disturbed.

Maybe the POINT of the whole thing is to scuttle the Titanic II and collect the insurance money... giving a WHOLE NEW ring to the phrase "bail out"...
