As for medical professional, you would not want a brain surgeon, or even a heart surgeon, nor do you want someone who is doing this for the first time, or even the 10th time.

You want a qualified Urologist, a person who knows that part of the body and what to expect.

Other things you must ask yourself and your friend, where is this going to be done? on the guys kitchen table? in a doctors office, at a hospital?

This is serious stuff, surgery. People die and have died from this even when they do it all correctly, its still surgery and has risks.

One question for you, what happens if things start to go wrong? what is the backup plan?

Good luck,

River

Despite all the risks any surgery involves, orchiectomy is considered to be very low risk surgery compared to all other surgeries on internal organs. It usually takes about an hour or even less, depending on methods and possible complications that could arise from testicular abuse. Local anesthesia is good enough. Healing might take from 2 weeks to a month if there is no complications. Healing also depends on methods, general health state, and on physical complications during surgery.

I think a general surgeon would be more than qualified to perform castrations. The surgery is really simple compared to most common operations. Above all the safety of the client is the most important consideration. --FLO--

I'm just throwing this out for discussion because I have no experience. Some of you have been there, done that. The domme's profile says she's from Chicago. I would assume the client is somewhere close. Dr. A is in Michigan, about a 5-6 hour drive. Would that be a viable option?

My client is actually from a totally different state!

I'm not sure who Dr. A is, as I'm new to the world of non-fantasy castration, but I will ask him about it. He came all the way out here to session with me, so something a few states over isn't going to be such an issue.

It is Dr. Arnkoff.

The thread regarding him is here (http://forums.eunuch.org/showthread.php ... ew-website).

May be there are other threads.
