Nope Im not mixed up with heart of palm. I have a reaction with heart of palm too now that you mention it but it's just a rash.

Saw palmetto in its raw form, crushed into bits, add into salad(like how people add bacon bits into salads...those give me the "runs" btw)

NB: I'm a vinegrette, croutons and olive oil fan for my salads. Never liked dressings.

The recipe sure sounds good but nowhere it indicates Saw Palmetto.

As a professional cook I must point out that Vinaigrette is a dressing. Suspect you mean you don't like mayonnaise based dressings.
