First you must be a Vet, then wait several months for an appointment, then its a two step process by design but the cost? its free.

Yes my friend and many are still paying to this day. My brother-in-law a Viet Nam vet still suffers with PTSD. I hope you have found peace and deserve all the benefits you are due. Thank you for your service.

River, they only do one eye at a time because if something goes wrong you wouldn't be totally blind by a mistake in surgery, it has happened. Wait till both eyes have been done, wake up in the morning, look out your front window. The sky will be blue, but a blue you havnt seen in years. The trees will look fantastic. I had my eyes done about 10 years ago. I havnt worn glasses, accept for reading, where before I wore glasses for over 35 years. Oh wear sunglasses it will be a bright new world out there. Skudrow

There are 14 illnesses are presumed by the VA to be services-connected for boots on the ground in Vietnam.

neuropathy and diabetes are two of them and I have both,

the other 12 are deadly.

A good friend of mine who did two tours in Viet Nam had lung cancer from exposure to Agent Orange. He hemorrhaged to death in his driveway. Paul you are missed you crazy bastard.
