Customer service is just NOT my forte.
Seriously? "How do I order pictures? I have this envelope."
OK, at your ceremony, there was a huge sign and a large box that said "Drop Photo Orders Here."
All the order envelopes are printed with our address. All you have to do is stamp it, put a check in it, and mail it.
It even has directions printed on the other side of it, from the address.
"And you graduated from college?" I had to ask. CLICK
Less work for me to do.
I have about 700 baseball/softball kids that are more important than a college grad dumbass who wants 8 wallets.
Thing is, I have a child read the order forms. He's 15 now, but if he gets it, and did when he was 10, why do "adults" have this problem?
I made myself a rather large pizza tonight with pepperoni, mushroom, and black olives. Mixed cheeses. Coconut flour crust; it's more like flatbread, but it works.
Aldi's had no cream cheese, either. Threw my whole weekend into utter chaos. I am NOT paying the other store $2.89 for cream cheese. And no strawberries. I'm not giving them $3.89 for a cup of blueberries, either. Not unless they can prove that the Chilean kid who picked them makes $50k/USD/year. I tried hiding them in my pants once, but then my dessert tasted like dick...
There were no adventures with the dogs tonight. That went smoothly.
Allegedly, all the cheap used books I ordered from Amazon last night have shipped. They do electro-checks now! Look out. P's shoppin'! I was surprised to find titles I'd read in elementary school available, used. "This one is rough, but I think all the pages are still there." For $1, you can't go wrong, though.
If anyone has a copy of "Sprockets The Robot Boy," I'd love to have it - but I'm not giving you $100+ for it, either! I do have Jesus' copy of "Rivets & Sprockets." Great read, if you're like 9...
Anyone remember "Juan & the Asuangs"? I think it was kind of a ripoff of "Where the Wild Things Are." It was pronounced "ass-wangs". LOL. Then again, it was 1972 or so...
Think I'll look for these next:
"The White Stag"
"Sun & Moon"
"Brown Cow Farm" from 1st grade.
"Crow Boy"
Anything from Bill Peet. My 'grand-godson' will love that.
Then there's all those cheesey Margaret Henry books about horses, etc., that I loved as a kid. Funny thing is, I was terrified of horses. A pony at the petting zoo once tried to get friendly with me when I was about 7. I punched him in the mouth.
I miss the book vendor who used to come to the mall, who sold books from old school libraries he'd bought out.
Now, which movie to watch on this, another quiet Friday night?
Another Friday Night
Re: Another Friday Night
We've decided to close the shop on Friday for a while, so it looks like a lot of 3 day weekends for me coming.
It rained today.
I left the truck overnight at the shop to be winterized. My front axle seals are "seeping". They all seep. They recommend "screw it", we'll top it off next time you come in. New ones will seep in about 3 months, too. OK...
The good news is, my front end is "tight". I guess you should like it tight.
I know the steering is a bitch. You sneeze and do a 180.
I bought a few groceries.
I have bacon and cabbage in the crock pot.
We are eating leftover 15 bean soup mix. I seldom indulge in that, but I had a huge ham bone I got for $5 with meat on it.
It rained.
I did find a few fall mushrooms, edible of course.
The dog went out to poop, got wet, got mad.
I got him a new bone at the grocery store, as he finished off the soup bean bone.
I think I have reached the last page of the Internet.
The computer is mad at me, killing me at chess, so we'll let that sit and cool off for a while while I eat this expensive Edy's Grand chocolate ice cream, no sugar add of course.
Yeah, it's Friday night...

Re: Another Friday Night
Same as last week, and the week before.
Edy's should be a controlled substance.
I found some Suillus Americanus mushrooms and made soup. It's OK, nothing remarkable.
