I probably need to lose weight now. In fact I know I do. It's just that clothes fit me so much better when I'm overweight.

22.4 for me. Body fat unknown. For me much too fat. I would like to lose about 15 or so pounds. to low 140s, but I have to be careful. Once I get into the proper mind for starvation, it is difficult for me to stop. There is a high that comes with hunger. Like speed but w/out all the negative effects. It can be addicting. I suspect that the next time I go anorexic it will be fatal. My weight tends to fluctuate within a range of about 5 pounds with the seasons. Gain n the fall when I want to find a nice warm cave and set the alarm for half past April, lose it in the spring, so now I am trying to push weight down without going anorexic.

I think its unneccesary to starve. Eat when your hungry but enough to stay sated and theres really no need to finish the entire meal.(save for laters when hunger kicks in again) From my research regarding brown fat its important to push oneself to work really hard at it but I mean If you can spare 45min (and not even half of that is exercising in crazy mode ) I mean come on. You have time to watch tv, go on the internet, play PC games , etc....
It seems northamerica has a very huge dislike going to the gym. I loved playing tennis and badminton with the birdie when I was in grade 12 and heck I got an A+ for just attending and having fun.
I do think theres a problem with current exercise routines and plans . They are way to over the top and I mean for what.
You exercise and go overboard with it and the muscle atrophy , bone loss clearly will age you quicker.
Some heavy weight champions die due to pushing themselves too much for too long.(People have died from marathons)
Whether it be from dehydration , cardiac arrest (a artery bursting, clot or) , suffocation, etc...
Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.
Same goes for diet. Too many supplements will kill(I take lots but slice them, mix and alternate them)
Anorexia kills.
NB = I mentioned in my previous post the issue with too much exercise and that is it really does tax your cells.
All I can say is I self discovered what works best for me that is optimum for my health and something that is easily achievable. I really don't exercise much. It's hard but really it's like a cartoon episoide it goes by fast.
All I do is
1. eat LOW GI and Keto(more heathy fats > protein > low GI carbs)
2. rapid exercise intervals 2 or thrice a week.
3. expose myself now to cold showers. (very freezing waters for a short 5 min max. but ridiculously cold)
Is that really hard? Option 3 I hate with a passion but I see results since a few days ago. I'm at 141.5-142.5 ibs according to the bmi scale but I have these sweet skinny jeans I havent worn since high school and I swear with my heart Im close to fitting them. I just know if I continue with this ill reach my goal.
I'm determined to stay thin and fight the plight that the endormorphic bodytype experiences.
Modern medicine will be my aid. Knowledge is power afterall. There has to be a smarter way to loose weight.
And yeah cheetaking I once was pudgy like you at 21 I was wearing 36x32 pants.
I took steps to learn what I could from university proffesors, neighbor doctors and am registered across various forums.
I started proper heath lifestyle choices at 23 and from there on it was trial and error till I found what worked but I had to research a lot.
I feel with all this research I'm kinda in the wrong field for study but meh. whatever.....
I'll just go into medicine mid 30's or when im ready.

Most of my samples of study are taken directly from my mothers side of the family.
There isn't a single person atm whoose skiiny. All are obese. (and it's worse than your situation cheetaking, much worse)
My mum and I are the only one's currently skinny (shes 51 btw) and everyone of my aunts , cousins and uncles are pissed as hell. Like OMG how are they doing it.
But unlike my mom I am taking a different path to routine exercise. She goes all crazy like 3-4 hrs every sing god damn day and im sorry this clearly can't be good for you. she has had a stroke in the past for doing this yet she wont listen to me. pftt....
(again I tell her but your aging faster and her reply was : I don't care god please take me. I want to die so bad. Fundie talk btw)
I love rubbing it in front of my mom my successes. And plz believe me guys we really have a weird relationship.
She is nuts, I'm doing my best not to go bonkers and exert self control.
Its sorta like sheldon and her mom from big bng theory

18.6 now. I've started tightlacing so it's easier to eat properly without worrying about my waist, not that it looked good anyways with ribs on top. This way I get to crush them too
It's dropped below 15 in the past when I was drinking too much and seeing it as a challenge to go without solid food, and I've dropped it below 17 a couple of times in the last few years after freaking out about my arms. I'd never thought about it until transward said but I agree, it's addictive in more ways than just body image. In some twisted way the bone growth on my face has helped. Dropping it that low I look really bad, now. I've got a recentish picture of my face below 17 to remind me why not to do it again. My lower face looks about 30 years older.
Body fat comes out at 26% on another site (I couldn't get that one to work) but that is probably distorted due to the corsetting.

Ketosis, I think, is part of the amphetamine feeling transward was talking about. Plus I suppose the pain in your stomach getting worse to the point you just can't feel it anymore. You kind of rise above it and it brings an odd state of consciousness.

yessss you got it Tiamat. gotta drink plenty of water to piss out all those excess ketones.
The human has a second way of extracting energy. That is from fats but healthy fats primarily. Its why folk from carribeans and maritime climates mostly never get fat.
They have extremely low brown fat reserves yet they are extremely thin.
They cook foods with coconut oil, monosaturated fats and virgin olive oil.
Eat low GI grains but very little of it(rice is not a native grain, it was introduced by Eurasia into carribeans)
Carbs come from Mainly fruit, veggies and wild yams
eat plenty of protein from fish, nuts too.
Ketosis Leaves you tired bc body preffers sugar instead of burning fats.(energy conversion rate from fats to ATP is much slower) ATP from sugar is preffered by the body
Fats are a survival way of acquiring energy . It takes more energy to break down fats and thats why its important to eat lean protein to prevent muscle loss. hence my ratio of foods.
The thing is my diet is a tweaked Low GI paleo + keto.
And my interval exercises plus exposure to ridiculous cold weather has further allowed me to loose weight.
The reason it is tweaked and can't be full dead on Keto is bc I live in Canada where weather is ridiculously cold.(leaves me hungrier)
I'm trying to tweak both diets that fits my needs up here.
The idea is to reap the benefits from both the keto perspective and the paleo

There is a reason Saints, Sufis, Yogis and such fast to achieve various altered states of consciousness. Pushing from weight loss to fasting can have some interesting mental effects.

I'm not sure how to reply to this. That's certainly my experience of it, and not entirely positive but certainly eye opening. But I don't think we should be encouraging each other

It's a curse as you know better than I and it will kill more surely than microwaving body parts.
