Now we are over hearing about the cruise ship. CNN is beating the story to death. How many times do we need to hear about sewage dripping down the walls. I hope they make it home safely but there must be other events in the world. Just let me know when they are safely home.

John Stewart calls this "The Ship of Stools"

Which is funny if you know that "Ship of Fools" is one of the great allegories of Western Literature dating back 400 years or more.

Most would remember Kathryn Anne Porter's 1962 novel of the same name and the STanley Kramer film made a few years later.
