This thread illustrates why I worry about the cavalier attitude about hormones that is not uncommon here on EA. The hormone system is not a balance that you play and add a little anti-androgen to change your hormone levels then quit and everything swings back to where it was before. I ran trans support groups for years, watched hundreds of trans people doing hormones, licit and illicit. Mucking about with your hormone system is not always reliably reversible. I know of at least two people who went on trans hormones for less than three months before quitting. (It's not uncommon for some people who think themselves trans, on having their libido drop, to find they have no more desire to transition.) Their testosterone levels never did return to normal and they were having to supplement it to get it up to normal male levels a few years later when I last saw them. I alway told people to be as sure as possible before they started. Don't mess with your hormones unless you feel you have no choice.
