ill post a link soon regarding libido (something i found

but it's quite interesting.) It says that libido usually isn't triggered when cortisol is released by the brain when the person is stressed or depressed however libido can rise exponentially if you exhibit symptoms of bipolar disorder

Apparently bipolar disorder is quite common too with adhd folk (not sure whether ive got a wee bit of bipolar pattern however all i can say is im extremely moody and the sadder I get the hornier i become)

and this applies both for cis males and females too

Jorge2008 have you considered this as a firm possibility?

I somehow don't think that spiro or most other drugs wont work or will reduce libido very little if you suffer from some sort of mania.(manias can be euphoric too)

Our brain chemistry and neurological pathway system is more complex than simply reducing hormones.

I have depression and dysphoria due to sexual frustration, however, I'm not manic. Languid rather (I sleep 9-12 hours a day).

there is a whole diverse range of bipolarism or something similar to what occurs brainwise when ones depressed. The brain is a powerful instrument for libido. I still don't belive that testosterone is the sole cause for libido.

I rarely get any sleep but ....... again depression usially due to gender dysphoria + academic pressure

Wanking calms me down to an extent

When im done I'm usually ready to go yet again, even if I know I'm spent.

Healthwise im fine , no urinary tract infection as a result of overmasturbation

Somehow I'm in control of my depression. I don't let it control with my overall psychology

But overall Im pretty stable sanity wise

Strange though my libido arises every single time I'm at odds and have quarrel (verbal fight) with my mother.

I am curious to know how jorge ended up mixing finasteride into his regime. I must admit my frequency to this forum is a bit proportionate to how horny I am. Following my chem trial last year I have not been back much but, I have recently started another phase of orgasm denial and such thoughts are coming into my mind again, it’s a bit of a vicious cycle though.

I am violently opposed to the use of Finasteride, indeed practically any drug for what is sometimes called, "off label uses". It's a perfectly good drug for its intended purposes but to many men who got their doctor to prescribe it to grow hair, they may be very suprized at how quickly they are sterile. There is a difference between sterilty and the ability of the testes to produce testosterone. In the former as I would hope most would know, being sterile simply means that your semen, your ejaculate, carries no living sperm for fertilization. But it has an effect that many, many men, vain to a point of stupidity, found and that's some marginal relief from baldness. They might as well have bought snake oil as this bit them in the balls even more effectively, In some research, it shows that strerility and certain associated effects can occur within as few as six weeks. It's proposed that any male who uses this for longer than ever a week or two has set himself on an irreversible path and, gentlemen, few men outside our community of like minded folk want to be sterile or want to chemically castrate themselves. Far from it.

I'm only too aware that great strides in medicine and drug usage have been made by accident but this was known almost before the product was put on the market and, certainly, doctors were made aware of it. Double blind studies confirmed all this so those who still took the risk to preserve their pompadour should have had an elastrator thrown in at no additional charge.

That's what my sexologist prescribed, after having consulted with an endocrinologist. Neither of these drugs had any noticeable effect on my sex drive, so I dropped taking them as I ran out of supplies last week.
