One of their factories was here in the Denver area.

The company execs and the bakers union have been

blaming each other for an impasse in the company effort

to reduce pay.

About a week ago the company announced they would close

if the union didn't give in, the union said they'd never do it

so the company called their bluff. The company says there

will be no termination pay.

I guess if someone else buys it they can start off with all

"new" employees.

Maybe Bain Capital can go in and buy the assets and the trademarks, sell them for a $PROFIT$ and have them made in China and shipped into the USA via air freight.

I mean, cardboard has more nutritional value, but twinkies are pure humor for comic relief, mockery and like I said above, what else will the mutant cockroaches eat when the world burns in the Mayan Apocalypse?

And then there are the deep fried variety that heart surgeons love.

Nothing plugs a stent like a twinkie unless it's deep fried bacon wrapped in bacon and surrounding a core of butter.

And think of future generations tens of millions of years in the future when they find the first edible, soft fossil and marvel at what simple taste buds we had for primates.

With the loss of shelf life extending preservatives and antioxidants from out Twinkie diet,

we might witness an increase in cancers and coronary artery disease that would have been Twinkie suppressed

just like Vitamin E. Except recent reviews show Vitamin E does not work as advertised. Trust Twinkies.

Some company has got to pick up the ball. How could they not? I worry though -

If the Japanese buy Hostess will we witness Green Tea creamy filling instead?

The workers should have negotiated a cut as called for by management along with future profit sharing!
