During the first 13 months after my castration, I was bothered by frequent (every hour or so) and annoying hot flashes. Had to spend a few minutes fanning away. Then I started low-level estrogen HRT six weks ago. Now the hot flashes are less frequent, and not as intense.

Thankyou for you knowledge. My breasts are enlarging a bit, dont really want that, but you are correct. Errections are not real stiff, just kinda there. As far as that Mellow feeling I hope to acheve that soon. I was also told that if i continue injections of Estridil into my testicles for about 4- 6 weeks my balls will turn into rasins. don't know about this one. The last time it hurt for a week. I am very curious to know if that will work -- my gut tells me it won't, but please keep us posted on your progress!

Since I have been taking glandulars, and now, estrogen, (estradiol) my penis has def. become the small part of my package and I'm still disappointed with the size of my balls and when they hang. I would just like them to go up into the body and stay there - or shrink --> maybe to raisin size would be ideal.

This morning I felt that I could measure just the slightest shrinkage of my balls by cupping the scrotum (and I woke up with it nice and tight). I believe that my balls come down during the late morning and afternoon because of the heat of the day; it will be interesting to see what happens in the winter.

Hi Jim: Well i have done one injection of 150mgs of depo-provera into each testicle. The first thing that happens is that they get real hard becasue you are forcing liquid into an inclosed area. The next thing that happened is that i began to feel like i was kicked in the balls. This went on for a week. It' is now time to inject again. i am going to use a diabetic syringe this time with estradil injectable. i was told to take as much as i can in each testicle. I am working with a Hospital person from florida. Her son had his balls done this way too. She is instructing me. Now the othe think i notice is my balls are already smaller most likely from the first injections. i am told that eventually they will be come soft and mushey and then like raisins. My Goodness! With all the pain and injections, etc., wouldn't it just be easier to have them removed? Or do you like the idea of having "mush" or "raisins".

This is not meant to be a challenge... I would really like to know, as I'm sure everyone else would. Also, elsewhere there is a great recipe for Rocky Mountain Oysters -- why not have them cut out whole and enjoy a one-time delicacy?

Hi Jim! No im not trying to do this painfully. But the key word is descrete, becasue it happens over a period of time. I also understand that eachinjection is a bit less painful and eventually you feel nothing at all as the testicle starts to die. So to be discrete and to be covert, im going to continue it this way. prncalexe

But again: what's it going to be like walking around with "dead testicles?" Is that healthy?

Hi, just want to give you a few pointers here. You say that you have been injecting the testacles with depo-provera? From what I understand the proper injection site is the gludious-maximus[your butt]. You may get results, but I am unsure if this method could give you the results you want. One sign of chemical castration is atrophy of the testacles. They will not "die" just atrophy from the lack of testosterone that chemical castration causes. In order for the testacles to die, you must stop the blood supply to them, such as using a Burdizzo clamp to destroy the veins in the spermatic cords. Once the blood supply is detroyed, they will shrink to raisin size because they are dead. After that the body should absorb the dead tissue. This method, although painful, is not recomended because it may not work on humans. It was intended for farm animals, and if done wrong you could end up with permanent testical pain. There have been a couple of posts here on the message board about the use of the burdizzo clamp. Search some of the older posts and you may find them, or maybe someone here can tell you where they can be found.

There are several ways to cook such items, but your taste for such needs to be developed, as the different methods produce different tastes.

Personally, I like BBQing them, in a sauce I find has a sweet, tart flavor - but then I am also into making my own BBQ sauces.

If you are really interested in eating such, you should find your self some sauce reciepies, and go from there.

On the subject of castration, I am approaching my 53rd birthday, and I find that my sex drive has gone from exceptionally low, to almost nil.

I have always been interested in losing my nuts, even as far back as age 10; but back then, it was to stay young and pretty, and not have to go through puberty.

Over the years, I have considered the subject, mainly as I have gotten into trouble for letting my gonads do my thinking for me - although I have never been charged with nor convicted of performing a sex crime.

Now days, finding a reduction in my libido (?) I realize that I either need to find a doctor who can remove my nuts, or a way which i can divest myself of those two miserable marbels.
