Definately possible. I had it done a few years ago and was on t injections for years to 'stay male' so to speak. Not the easiest thing to do and it makes life a lot harder in many respects, especially if you dont want people to know.

How does it make life harder. I know about, pissing, dilating and not worried about other people. I feel like sexual function would certainly be easier in my situation. I have heard of a way from someone who was successful of simply contacting everyone whom does SRS in the U.S.( have one name as of today) on males and eventually you will find someone and meet their requirements, I am not giving names until I get mine done and have the surgeons approval of giving his name as it has been a long journey and I am not taking any chances.I can't believe I am finally making progress and will believe it when I am fixed.

It sounds like you know main issues. Dialating is a chore but gets less frequent down the track. Peeing is a lot less convienant and messier. Day to day most people wont know or care whats between your legs but obviously it will be noticable anytime you may be naked or wearing tight clothing such as change rooms or swimming. Doctors become more of a hassle if you see a new one or go to hospital in an emergency plus prostate exams are vaginally rather than rectally. I had issues passing a medical for a job as a result of being 'abnormal'. Obviously sex is pretty different too and while i think you mentioned earlier that you are gay, i suspect some gay men may not be as interested in you. I think obviously it will be different for each person, just dont rush into its is my advice. PM if you have any questions

Chrissym, Thanks for the reply. As a gay person whom hasn't had sex with another person in over 8 years by choice I can live with out them. I feel having a vagina would weed out the guys that I'm not interested in anyways as chemistry is most important to me and if they don't get me I am not interested in them anyways. I only need one guy or none. I have been studying getting vaginaplasty for decades and find there are many gay guys that claim they would be turned on. I also will always insist on being versatile which presumably will give me more options. On the flip side I really am not interested in a guy that wants to stay intact which makes finding one more like a needle in a haystack. I have found I am much happier not worrying about finding a guy. Your friendship/roommate situation would never be acceptable to me as I have been with people whom want me to be something else and I find that demeaning and damaging to myself. You have something too wonderful to offer to not be appreciated fully. I think my only problem about dialating would be doing it ambitiously happily too much bordering on obsession. It is far too late to rush into it as I have felt this desire for over 50 years. It is just now that I am finding it is possible for someone like me to reach this goal.

I'm truly curious ChrissyM, how did you manage to get it done? Did you need referral letters? I'm considering going down this route (I.e vaginaplasty without body feminization) but maybe in a two step process, orchiectomy first.

It's concerning that it's your boyfriend that wants this and not you. Especially when you add "help please!".

Was that a request for help in finding out how to get the surgery? Or, was it a request for help to get away from your boyfriend?

Yes, this seems troubling. It is one thing to get yourself pussied because its what you want, but entirely another thing if it is only to please another.

Uncle Flo is right again. (Wise old bird....) Do not allow yourself to be pushed. Get help. There's lots of it available to make sure that you too do the wise thing.
