I agree with devi. those high glycemic starches and artificial preservatives and refined sugars got to go.

If you want something sweet have some handmade lemoniade with added "stevia" or natural honey

Ps = Honey has like 13 protein chaains i believe

I do have a question

May somebody explain for the longest time why "stevia" was on the "No list "on the FDA for the longest time?

Stevia is a natural protein extract from a flower that has sweet like properties. Unlike fake aspartame or it's cousin splenda.

And that's another thing.Anyone have concrete studies on aspartame?

everywhere I go there's relative mixed results about it. Clearly the food industry is playing dirty

I really don't know about aspartame, but stevia was used the world over for a while before the USA decided to let it in. I would assume this was all about money, because it would be a threat to the sugar and other artificial sweetener industries. Just a theory. However, I have talked to several people that think stevia is just another "toxic" artificial sweetener and wont' touch it. Perhaps that was the plan and it worked?

On another note, do NOT try and bake with the stuff. It turns extremely bitter (Brand: Stevia in the Raw) when heated.

The weird thing about stevia is it was used since ancient japan. I mean people didn't have a problem with it in their tea and it's natural.

See any clues there? After all, we're talking the USSA federal government here.

I think you just answered your own question! :)

I would like to belive that some corp will come in along the way and actually care for the general public but I know this is wishful thinking. Your right it's all about the money. Such a shame many places around the world don't give a crap about health and safety.

Funny thing too is I extracted more about health online than I did if i were to read 30 or more books. : -\
