I'd like to grab some of that stuff for my face. save that stuff for the face. virgin cocnut oil ain't cheap ya know P
Your right that it's great for cookin. I prepped some butter ball indian style curry chicken not long ago and the texture of the sauce stay very consistant. Now I know what east indians use for their special ingredient P(I go nuts over spicy foods)
bees wax oatmeal bars are fairly decent too. honey wax for example contains 13 protein chains. for the skin.

"Mites, Fleas, Lice and Kooties..."
When I saw that in the subject line I thought it was the Jeopardy answer to "What are things Moi has?" Then I realized you weren't kidding.

I was considering Olive Oil. Doesn't cocoanut oil smell?
For now I will stick with the dermatologist recommendation because I
know them to be hypoallergenic and I have long had faith in Biersdorf products like Eucerin.
Yes I have Aveeno Body wash too and bars of Aveeno soap. The oatmeal stuff.
Some of the best relief I felt at the worst of it was from
a Seaweed soak at a business called Seaweed Sok
http://seaweedsok.com/
I just can't sit still that long in a luke warm tub b'cause y'can't have the water too hot.
Brand name Chlortrimaton 4 mg works the best without getting too dopey like from benadryl.
More modern antihistamines are of no help nor the leukotrine inhibitor, Singular.
A great find would be a skin softening oil that would not foul equipment or lose effectiveness in a jacuzzi/hot tub.
My pool boy knows of no such product. I should introduce him my beautiful dermatologist. Maybe they could figure something out.

Try emu oil. I slather it on every day. I'm sold on the stuff and have been using it for years. I get compliments on my skin all the time.

How is that really different then chicken schmaltz?
Really.
If I were to lather down with an oil it would be an animal oil because some essential fatty acids are not found in vegetable oils.
I like Biersdorf products because they include "wool wax", I guess that is lanolin.
Cod Liver Oil might be good for all that vitamin A and D. Of course the cats will follow me with hungry eyes.
Emu, okay I will research it because of respect for the author.

Product link appreciated. Or just the product.

Second emu oil. It's amazing. They don't kill any emus for it, it's a byproduct from meat farming.
I can't speak for its lice killing abilities but it's wonderful for the skin!

Forgive me, I feel a blasphemy coming on. Your comment brings a vision of a Jewish Moi, anointing himself with fish oil, calling his cats together, and announcing, "Take, Eat. This is my body, which is broken for you."

Moi, I don't think olive oil is a great idea. terrible for the face. it'll clog your pores and lead to a horrible acne.
cod liver oil is rich with vitamin E but I digress using this method, you'll stink as bad as leaving a opened can of sardines exposed in the open.
On second thought the cats will stick to you like butter and go nuts over you
