As far as the hot flashes go I'm no help there but I can tell you that if I were you I'd be beating a path to my doctor real quick to be checked for diabetes! Talking from experiance here & having the same skin problems you're having I finally had a doctor get the bright idea to check me for diabetes when I was having similiar skin problems & nothing else was working.
Hopefully it's not diabetes but you did throw up a red diabetes flag! My best to you!

The hot flashes diminished and stopped completely in about six months without hormones. Never had dry skin. Prior to my castration I had oily skin and the oiliness reduced to normal levels. I am on a different hormone scheduele now and have lovely smooth skin and an increasingly curvier body shape.

The other considerable issue when I'm not on HRT is that my skin becomes very dry and I experience painful cracking around my hands, fingers and lips. No amount of creams, ointments or other such things seem to alleviate this to any considerable degree. Tea tree oil and Aloe Vera (I have an Aloe Vera plant) make a small difference but are a long way from what I'd call a solution.
I am hoping somebody else here has also experienced these things and has found a practical solution that does not involve HRT (natural or chemical). Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
The best remedy I've found so far for dry cracked skin on the hands is Flexitol Hand Balm. It's not cheap at 5 English Pounds for a 2 ounce tube but a little goes a very long way and it's specially formulated for very dry skin. Their website is
www.flexitol.com and the balm is manufactured in Australia. If you don't already know of this stuff I'd recommend you give it a try. Good luck.

Just lather up with oil with herbs or else salve and walk around naked touching nothing. Now might be a good time to color your hair if you do so. Maybe you can lie down on predesignated linen. Then take a bath. Once every couple of months might be good.

It seems I'll just have to be patient and ride this out (as I mentioned earlier). Hopefully, I'll have the same thing happen to me and the hot flushes will eventually subside. Right now though, I'm sitting in a cold room (I actually quite like the cold) and am alternating between being ru

Thank you for that link. Being Aussie made, it should be relatively easy for me to obtain.
I've found a lip balm that has stopped the dry, cracked lips. It is this one....
