The best argument in favor of having children is that if everyone stopped having children today then in the space of a half century nobody would be having sex..,...What AM I saying?!

Let me re-phrase that, I meant that there would be nobody left on the Earth and we would go extinct.

So now admit it, everyone. Whoever sides with Master Waddie's viewpoint is admitting that the only purpose of sex is for procreation.

If anybody...i.e. Master Waddie, comes here and stays then he is admitting by default that he follows the Eunuch creed of rejecting sex. Furthermore, if one takes a eunuch for a mate, then the sex is not likely to be good, is it?

Furthermore, if he does not see the need for people to have children, then what possible function could sex serve because he has already rejected the pleasure part by aligning himself with eunuchs.

Eunuch + no need for children = complete rejection of sex.

It is as Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock) would say, it all seems logical.

Not really. Depending on age, adrenal glands, and other factors poorly understood, some eunuchs can maintain a sexual lifestyle, even if at a greatly reduced level. Eunuchs castrated in their 20s and 30s can maintain some sexuality for many years. But the older you are at castration, or the longer you are a eunuch not on HRT, the more likely you are to become totally impotent.

However, even if you are capable of having sex, your drive will be at a low enough level that you can ignore sex without discomfort if that is what you want to do. As Dr. Spector always pointed out, after castration the eunuch is IN CONTROL of his sexuality, to be as sexual or non-sexual as he wishes.

And now a personal data point. I was castrated at age 56, and went from once or twice a day masturbation, and other sexual activities, to no activity. Perhaps I just might awaken if the right partner came along who pushed all the right buttons. But I can sit back and enjoy life CALMLY without wasting time and money trying to find that partner.
