By definition a eunuch is a castrated male/man. To that end, a eunuch is a man, albeit a neutered one. The definition of male is as much related to the other physical characteristics as it is to whether you have balls or not. Is a man who has a penectomy no longer male ? What about a nullo? If they still present as male to the world, how is anyone to know what parts they may be missing below the belt?
For me I am quite comfortable with being a eunuch. I am a man without balls, therefore a eunuch. I choose to use supplemental testosterone, to retain strength and sexual function, but I am still a eunuch.
Almost every person I know is aware of my status, and I have seen no change in my interactions with people who know. It is afterall not really any concern, and its not really all that visible( unless you are naked) so it is a non-issue.
So to sum up for the OP, a eunuch is a neutered man.

I agree..labels are just that. I've been on Testosterone for 4+ years due to hypogonadism. Now my testicles are a lot smaller and if I stopped taking T, then I'd crash and burn as my shrunken fellows wouldn't be functioning. Am I Eunuch then? I have balls but they aren't working...
You are what YOU say you are and what you FEEL you are.
While I agree intellectually that it's what's between the ears that counts rather than what's between the legs in determining gender, still, if a "woman" comes into the ladies' room wearing jeans and a teeshirt, obviously having facial hair, a deep voice and no boobs, and "she" stands in a stall with the stall door half open to pee, I think I'd go find another restroom regardless of what "she" feels "she" is. Maybe just my personal hangup.

Reading all the posts in this thread make me glad to a member of this community.
When I learned last year that I am sterile, and have low/intermittent testosterone, I felt initially like less than a man. Though I was glad to finally know the reason for being the way I am, it was a blow to the ego.
This community has forced me to think differently than I have. It has changed me very much for the better. One of the ways it has changed me is by showing me that it really is all about how we face the world that makes us what we are.
We are men. We are women. We are eunuchs. We can be what we are without any shame.
jako9999, You are a man. You are a man by your actions, by your accomplishments, your thoughts and your deeds. Legally, intellectually, spiritually, you remain a man. Two lumps of gristle don't decide that for you. You do.
That idiot you spoke of is just that, an idiot. It sounds like you are more of a man than he could ever be.

When I look in the mirror after a shower I see a neutered male body with some new female traits. More weight in the thighs along with a rounder butt. Less body hair and more female pattern to the remaining pubic hair. My body like my mind is in the middle between masculine and feminine. I have never used any HRT in 14 years be it T or E.
My brain which was never very masculine is happier without the influence of T. My gender seems to float between M and F. I am eunuch in body and mind.
You are a male and that is how you feel and relate. No one's opinion matters but yours.

Is a MTF person a woman?
Is a FTM person a man?
When do they achieve those designations?

I agree with these statements. You know who you are and others opinions do not matter.

Where I worked had a fellow who left one Friday as a man and came back the Monday dressed as a woman to do his year long stint under drugs before SRS. I spoke with one of the people who worked daily with her -- it was "her" after the dressing change and before the surgery. Simple change of pronoun for all of us outsiders and that was it. The hard change was hers in struggling to deal with her changes. I didn't want to contribute more hardship than there already was in her life.
After the SRS, it was she because she had breasts and a vagina and all he outward appearances of a woman.
Likewise, a woman has SRS and changes physically into a man then we owe him the common decency to call him a man.
I personally don't see the problem with calling people HE/SHE/IT as they wish to be called.

I think your description wouldn't be that of a woman. Women do make an effort to sit and close the door properly is my understanding of the ladies room. I think someone just starting out on the RLT would be doing their best to show an outward female appearance. I agree with you to find another restroom, or get a security guard.
Conversely men don't seem to have an issue with natal women using our restrooms

There is the problem of that year the trans person spends dressed as the other sex and having to behave as the other sex and using a public restroom. Be very careful because this could be lots of trouble.
Where I worked solved the problem by dedicating a small washroom to one person. There were four other washrooms in the building (big building) and that prevented all sorts of problems.
In another case where there was an accessibility issue for a wheelchair, management removed the stall walls of a one stall bathroom and put a sign on the door --- Men occupied, women occupied, empty with a magnetic slide to post over the appropriate portion of the sign. They everyone had tot lock the door when they went in. But only five people worked in that building and they respected each others privacy.
