Really i would like to know more what is evil? is kundalini evil too? you seem to be religous wht if i said religion is to keep you in a spirtual prison limited by belief which creates, repression of sex is to be controlled by it, surrendering to sex is being one with it neither for or against not someting to be overcome and surpressed, tantra teaches that sex is sacrad and with practices can be used to bring balance and can be used as a path to enlightenment, relgion teaches to surpress sex which brings inbalance and repression bounding the kundalini to the base and creating guilt and other emotions which keeps a person locked in repression of the lower chakras.

English has moved on since the year 1611. The word "lust" has taken on a sexual overtone it didn't have back then. Newer translations use terms that, in modern English, better match the intent of the original Greek. In all three verses cited, the New International Version uses "desires," which could be about sex or money or social prominence or anything else. 1 Timothy 6:9 uses the same word ("lusts" in KJV, "desires" in NIV), and the context is clearly about money, not sex.

If Jesus' disciples understood Matthew 9:12 to be taken literally, one wonders why the Bible doesn't record that half the early disciples got themselves castrated. It would seem that they understood him to mean that someone who was figuratively a eunuch, in that he was not married, had more freedom to spread the gospel, as Paul did. Similarly, if Matthew 4:27-29 is literal, why weren't half the early Christians maimed by having hands cut off and eyes plucked out. It seems clear that he was using hyperbole to make a point: don't let anything trip you up.

Paul gave practical advice to those who couldn't keep their sex drive under control at 1 Corinthians 7:8: "Get married." He said nothing about getting castrated.

Certainly, if you want to get castrated, I have no problem with that. If you want to be blinded and have your hand cut off, that's fine with me, too. But don't blame Jesus for your literal interpretation of archaic English in the King James Bible. Also, as others have advised, get educated on what lies ahead before you start down that road, because there's no turning back.

None of the 'new versions' such as the NIV, are based on the true and authentic Christian manuscript (textus receptus), but are rather based on totally corrupted egyptian manuscripts that were found in a vatican waste paper basket, and another in a monastery full of human bones! As if thats not bad enough, they were translated in an effort to DELIBERATELY destroy the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, by two occultists named Wescott and Hort who hated the Gospel and so decided to write a new bible. People seek to these new bible versions, because they seek to justify their sin, which these sin-friendly new per-versions allow.

Paul recommended marriage to those who couldnt contain (lust), but to those who COULD contain, they did better.
