Read the many posts. You would, had you done so, have found that the story archive is in process of being rebuilt. It will take at least a year to reformat all the stories. The operating software is still being written. Patience.
so there will be no new stories until the archive is rebuild?
and how will i find new stories it there is no "new stories" section?
the archive is very very good - so i hope it will soon be even better...

It's a safe bet that there will not be anything new for a good long while.
In fact, all of the old stuff is slowly but surely 'becoming new'.

You won't.

Thank you. It's going to take a while, though.

The story archive editor/restoration folks can correct me if I'm wrong, but I would guess that a "What's new" section will likely appear once they start taking new stories again after the full restoration of the old content from the story archive. No sense in it being there now since they are in an editing and restoration mode, getting all the stories formatted so they are easier to read. There was a TON of stuff in the old archive that was dreadful to read because it didn't have paragraph breaks, or other problems that caused it to be one big jumble on the screen.
Be patient, let them work!

Is it possible that there is a login problem because of the "ü" in my name? Do I have to use a different name?
I also think that there is a problem with the "ü" because I can not log into the archive ......

I have seen what appears to be a technical glitch with the login system and do not know if it is a known issue or not.
If I log in and then use the subject specific menus (IE nullo, testicles, penectomy, TG, etc.) then the system comes back with the "We don't know what that is" window/screen with another opportunity to log in. Once I log in again it seems to work. But for some reason using the subject menus, I have to log in twice before it lets me navigate without issues.
Not sure what's up with that, but thought I'd mention it. It's a minor annoyance and I can live with it, but I could see where getting greeted with that screen upon navigation might confuse a few people.

Do you need some help with writing the software?

If you're having problems with logging in, it very well could be "special characters" in your user ID.
Send me an email at paolox31 at hotmail dot com with subject "Change my EA User ID" and I'll change it for you.
I'd suggest something simple like replacing characters such as "ü" with just "u" and see if that helps.

There is an anomaly which is consistent.
The first time on each session when I select a story using the alphabetic index a separate window appears with the story but this is immediately overlaid with another copy of the index. Close that window and re-select and it works correctly.
I did try some of the other indexes but they either brought up the 'log in' window or didn't seem to respond at all.
