O.K. for what it's worth, from all that I've read, Thailand hospitals pose a lesser risk for super bug infections. It seems they take more precautions and therefore the surgical field in which the surgeons operate is more sterile. I'm sure that varies from place to place.

I was ask my GP about HRT as I wish to live as a woman and his suggestion was to have an Orchiedectomy prior to commencing HRT as it would reduce to level of hormones required, to effect the change, and it would also reduce the risk of liver damage and risk of developing thrombosis.
My Urologist said he was happy to proceed with the "Orchi", but he required a letter from an Psychologist before proceeding.
Anyway after 6 visits over 6 months I now have been given the OK for the Urologist to proceed with the "Orchi" so there is one happy girl in waiting.

I know there is an urologist in Brisbane who is willing to do elective castration. He comes to visit EA.
For Thailand, google up "castration clinics in Thailand" and you'll find a whole bunch of sex change clinics who will also do elective
castration and other genital mods without question. Castration was banned in Thailand for minors. They still do it starting from 16 y.o. with parents consent and from 18 y.o. without any consent. Thailand is certainly the most open country for sex change and castration.

In Thailand you can get castrated for as less as 5000 baht which is about $150 this is what local boys pay for a castration done by regular doctor with local anesthetic. In specialized transgender clinics, it'd cost about $1500 for a castration, $500 more for scrotal removal and a complete sex change cost about $5000. In Atlanta an orchiectomy cost $5000 an a sex change up to $25000.
