Unfortunately, the rumours of the Captain's death have been greatly exaggerated.

He's still alive, with a facebook page, his own site, and the cereal will keep being made, just as it always has been.

Most likely, his not being on the main page of the corporate website (which is what started this whole thing) was that the company wanted to draw attention away from it's most unhealthy product, and steer focus towards it's healthier options.

Similar reasons to why 'Kentucky Fried Chicken' became 'KFC'. 'Fried' is an ugly word these days.

Moi

Perhaps if it is made there.

It is interesting that the Coca Cola made in Mexsico still uses real sugar - one of the advantages of the less developed world is that sometimes less is more. I have seen one Mexican restaurant in Montana that actively promotes that it sells only real Mexican Coca Cola.

Mexican (real sugar) Coca Cola is stocked in nearly every grocery store in my area. If you want a really different tasting Coke try the kosher variety (yellow bottle tops) produced with a 1930's formula on 1930's equipment. --FLO--
