As usual, Andrew voices my response to the "invitation." The "invitation" is insulting. Gender identity is a complex matter. .

It certainly took a while for everyone to notice this thread, from June of 2002.

Okay, I read slowly--very slowly.

Due to the fact that I was born transsexual (female gender but boy bits), and have had this birth condition corrected (I am now correctly anatomically female), I believe that I qualify--I was born female with a rare condition.

The state of Michigan agrees with this assesment and has happily corrected my birth certificate to state that I was indeed born female.

I believe that this goes for our other TS sisters on the list. Even pre-op TS women were born female in gender, and that is what counts.
