I'm wondering if the regulating body here, Health Canada, would come down on me. I just want to know if I can get a post office box and do my thing privately without Big Brother getting involved and showing up with the constabulary. I read a previous thread about different online pharmacies and again just wanted to know if there's a hands down winner for customer satisfaction and competitive prices. Thanks.
I live in Vancouver. For a while many of the overseas pharmacies would ship to Canada. However, I got a LOT of my shipments blocked. I would get a letter from customs saying that the drugs were not allowed to be imported by me, plus they included a letter warning of the health risks of using unregulated sources of drugs.
Many of the overseas pharmacies then stopped shipping to Canada. You'll see what I mean. If you look at the shipping FAQ for most sites they will list that they don't ship to Canada, and on other sites you'll get to the checkout and find that Canada isn't listed on the drop downs.
Anyway, very few companies even try to ship to Canada anymore, and yes they will get intercepted regularly. I didn't get in any significant trouble, but that may depend on the quantity -- never order more than a couple months worth as most drug laws can escalate the seriousness if you get more than a "personal use" quantity. I suppose that I'm probably in a database somewhere though that could cause me trouble in the future.
