Well I personally prefer to sit and pee, except for using dirty public restrooms, or in a hurry. I do like being able to stand and pee occasionally, but like the others have mentioned, getting those lest few drops out is a pain:(, and very embarrassing when they leave a wet mark on pants

The other advantage of setting to pee is that when you have a PA you will find that you pee in two streams, so one is easy to aim in the urinal the other hits your left shoe. Setting is much better.

YMWV = Your Milage Will Vary. Much will depend on what age your husband will be at the time of castration, what his adrenal glands will be putting out, and other factors poorly understood. For example, if he trys hard to maintain some sexuality, he probably will. If he is like me and wants to ignore sex completely, it won't take long for complete asexuality to set in.

That is to say, there isn't really any one "complete eunuch attitude". Some of us develop what we refer to as "The Eunuch Calm" as the months go by. But with your encouragement he could well retain some sexual ability, and be turned on with your encouragement. Just at a reduced level of activity.

If you are not able to do something surgical I would recomend the burdizzo. You can buy one for around $40 and it doesn't involve any cutting. Each cord is pinched when the jaws are closed on the scrotum on each side. There is a brief bit of pain but that subsides quickly (according to accounts I have read). The testicals then shink gradually in the scrotum to the size of a bean.

I would agree that the elastration procedure is very very painful for a long time and I cant imagine that aesthetically it leaves the remainder of the genitals in any kind of decent shape as the sac has had to just rot off.

I have seen burdizzos for sale at the addres below but there are many places to purchase them. This item is regularly used on ranches to castrate animals.

The burdizzo method is prone to failure on humans from all the accounts that I have read. It will work but usually requires multiple clamps to the cord to do the full job. It also is nearly impossible to do yourself.

My recommendation is to see Dr. Spector & Kimmel (http://www.felixspector.com) in Philly. Basically the safest method there is for castration. They are well suited and equipped to handle any problems that might arise during the castration. They can also remove the sac if you desire that look also.

Burdizzo is not reliable on adult humans for two reasons: the burdizzo was not meant for adult animals in general (where blood supply to testicles is fully developed) and furthermore human's testicles are different than that of herd animals. Herd animals have testicles designed for one big rutting season per year, while human testicles are designed to be ready all year round. The effect is that human testicles' blood supply is not as brittle as, say, a sheep's and therefore crushing is less likely to be effective.

Some people, including those on this forum, have used burdizzo's effectively, but it is not a sure thing, and it is not painless.

I suggest castration by injecting a weak acid directly into each testicle. This is similar to methods developed for livestock. Research ChemCast to find out more.
