There will always be those offering some kind of "services" or "products" in an effort to seperate you from your money. There will always be those gulible people from whom they will get money. Using some practical common sense will go a long way to protect yourself from those seeking to take your money and give nothing in return.

Don't underestimate how lacking in common sense and gullible those who're sexually desperate and obsessed with their fantasies and fetishes can be. Frankly it might be unkind to say, but if they choose not to try to maintain some sort of control over themselves and choose to put sex lust and desire first, they probably deserve to be scammed.

The thing I have learned about "magicians" is, it's all smoke and mirrors, there is nothing magic about it, they simply take advantage of the gullibility inherent in most people to make you think you are seeing something that they want you to see as well as using misdirection to distract you so you do not see the things they don't want you to see, then getting your mind to fill in the blanks for them.
If there was such a thing as magic, why is Bill Gates rich and Cris Angel not so rich?
Magicians are as bad as psychiatrists. Just what we need, a doctor who charges 400 dollars an hour to sit with you, ask leading questions, and maybe after years of "therapy", get you to cure yourself just by figuring out what your own problems really were, and what you should do to deal with them.

Well at parties a magician is more of a bit of light entertainment than a programmer will be!
