Hello to All; I am new to this web, and have read and learned a lot. The question of the day, is how low does testostrone count have to be, before a person will start having hot flashes. I know that every person is different, I have dropped my testostrone count down below 300 (296) at present time. I do sleep good at night, and some energy slow down. Thank You any info is very much appreciated.🙏

I just ordered depo from goldpharma and I have a question on dosing. Should I inject 1 vial? or I was reading somewhere to take 300mg...2 vials for the first dose, then 1 every 2/3 weeks after. Will it all fit in one syringe? I am not so concerned on the latter, just mostly looking for more feedback on dosing. And yes, I realize there is no definitive answer and that individual results may vary. Thanks for your help... oh, and just to introduce, I can be considered asexual as I desire no sex, but I have a very over-active member and want to experience life without constant erections. I am greatly looking forward to this experience/experiment, and hope it will give me the final push into going ball-less.

Generally, anything less than 100 could be considered castrate. Recently, with more accurate tests and equipment, this figure has been lowered to about 50.

Labs do have different ranges so it somewhat depends on the lab used. They should provide a range that they consider as normal. My lab uses 280-1080 as a normal range so you would only be on the low side of normal and very unlikely to experience hot flashes at that level. Testosterone numbers and various effects are not exactly coupled and further, time is a large factor as it may take months for an effect to manifest itself when you go to a lower T number. My doctor has said castrate level is anything less than 50. Not all guys will develop hot flashes either.

If they come in a pre-filled syringe with a needle, you can just inject both syringes, you don't have to put the whole lot into one syringe. It might be better to use two different injection sites (e.g. one into the right thigh and the other into the left) but as long as they're in the syringe they came in, they are sterile at the point of going into your body.

Thanks h fly, I think they come in vials, but i'll deal with whatever... I have experience with needles so no big. I was mostly concerned with dosing but found what I was looking for when I finally got access to older threads. Thanks to all who post... even the seemingly smallest things people write to express their experiences can help ease, or alleviate some anticipation or anxiety for others. I guess the only true way to get answers is to just take the plunge, so to speak. I think one of my biggest concerns that keeps me already thinking this may not be for me is the lower energy everyone seems to experience, or the reduced motivation. I already have somewhat of an issue with motivation for certain things I think I want to do more of, as I like to stay active... or at least try. The calm some people say they experience is intriguing but I am already an extremely calm person. I have no sex drive so nothing can change in that department, but the reason I am doing this is to eliminate my perpetual erections, and rid myself of the need/desire to tend to them. I guess that is kind of like a sex drive? Or maybe my lack of sex is making my penis feel the need to get excited over non sexual things... like I just got a new shower head and when I took it for a test run, I got a raging boner?! Same happens when I wear new underwear, or get naked in public places... gyms, dressing rooms, doctors office... I can't stand it... why do I have to deal with this thing that I don't even want to use for what it wants to be used for?! When will this madness end?! Lol. Enough of the rant, I shall post my experiences in a future breath, though I am a little apprehensive to begin when I get my supply as I am realizing how demanding my new job is. Anyone agree I should wait for a while after I am done with the extensive training and other 'stresses' that go with a new job (I am not stressed at all by the way), or might it be better to be castratafied and perhaps experience a new level of focus? Note: I am an extremely focused person... so maybe lowering my testosterone may make me super ultra focused, or backfire and make me a letharigisized unproductive expendable employee ;). Seriously though, I am wondering if this is a good idea to jump into chem castration right THIS now, or if anyone feels I should wait... or should it not matter either way. I am probably gonna do it anyway cuz that's the type of person I am, but just humor me with some feedback... thanks :)

Thanks for the info about goldpharma. 🙏

I think it is one of the best in europe. They send via spain and therefore no european people get trouble with the customs.

I received the vials yesterday and a few minutes later I've injected the first shot. :D

In round about two weeks I'm chemically castrated again.

Which country are you in? I'm in the UK and have ordered Depo Provera from Inhouse before, but Goldpharma are a third of the price, so I could get three vials for the same price of one. However, I'm concerned that the additional costs (prescription, delivery) could push me over the £18 VAT/admin cost threshold.

Also, did they come in pre-filled syringes or did you have to prepare the syringe yourself? How easy was that? I've never done that before as the DP came pre-filled, all I had to do was inject.

I'm from germany.

The DP come in vials. So you need a needle and syringe. It is very easy to prepare. I've paid only 37 Euro for 4 vials including prescription and delivery. Best of all is that they send the DP via spain, no problems with customs or VAT.

Since 2 month I'm chemically castratet (Testosteron: 0.3ng/ml) and very happy about it. After use DP for the next 10 months I think about the real castration.

I respect your choice, living without sex drive is amazing but beware of the side effects. At the beginning you will have less energy which is normal and acceptable, hot flushes too they will pass, but the bad side effects will start to appear 1-2 years after castration and they will go from bad to worse. After 8 years I was so depressed I was thinking of killing myself. I had to quit, I'm on TRT since and I feel all right. Sex drive came back but I had no choice. I was comfortable being sex less then, the rare time I'd wake up with a soft hard on I felt weird, as if it was totally abnormal but it'd last only few second. I wouldn't mind being sex less again but without the side effects. If you stop DP after 6-12 months of you may lose the capacity to produce natural testosterone. Good luck
