As one who has been successfully been castrated following alcohol injections, I'd like to point out that things are not necessarily as you say. I did numerous alcohol injections but didn't have to search out a doctor to remove my dead testicles. My regular doctor discovered my testes were shrunken and very hard during an ordinary physical exam. That started things rolling with an ultrasound and then a referal to a urologist and their eventual removal- fully paid for by my insurance. I didn't have to go thru any counselors save for Bobbie, Oneballboi and Tome but I did have over 2 years of chemical castration experience leading up to trying the alcohol injections so I knew what I was getting into.
I really started the alcohol injections because I didn't see a suitable way to be castrated and it seemed that it would be nearly as good if my testes simply didn't work anymore even if they were still present. The injections certainly fixed them so they no longer functioned and then as a most welcome bonus, my doctors readily removed them a
fter they were confident that they wouldn't recover.
My point in saying what I said i

n the earlier post was just the point you made -- "I didn't have to go thru any counselors save for Bobbie, Oneballboi and Tome but I did have over 2 years of chemical castration experience leading up to trying the a
lcohol injections so I knew what I was getting into."
Don't make your first step the only step. Learn about what you want to do and get some support. That what doctors, counselors and friends are for.

From personal experience banding is something that must be taken seriously. The more one tries it and I have the greater the desire to keep it on longer. i uses rubber bands, leather laces and rings many times. It is exciting to see the balls initially turn a bright red, slowly get a little darker in color and get deeper light blue and slowly darken. They get colder to the touch and pain sets in, increasing, the longer the constriction is in place. Although sometimes I have found there is no pain. They just go numb. This can be the most dangerous occassion. Without the pain the temptation is to keep it on longer.
If you practice this a lot and have a few drinks your judgment gets very poor. I have almost done a few stupid things and lost track of the banding time. I suddenly look at the ball sack and see it is almost black. Panic sets in and you hastily try to remove the band as quickly as possible. You do and slowly se some pale color on the scrotal skin and massage it to regain sensation and color. What a rush to see red than pink color return to your ball sack. You swear You won't do it again. But we all know you will when you have fogotten how close you came to real damage.
Moral of this is don't mix alcohol or other drugs with fun and games.
Yes i think you can accidently castrate yourslef with banding and passinig out. If really intoxicated you will probably not be woken by the pain, which does subside after awhile. The next stop may be the emergency room for your castration.

Yes, but you DO feel pain. Do you not?
I believe that it would be impossible to do this without consent because of the pain.
That's what I meant...

Hmmmm....... I have an elastrator I don't need anymore. Anybody want to buy it??? but seriously. Elastrators should just be used for play. The pain is intense but can make orgasms incredible.
Heres a tip for those of you who use them. If you bag your nuts in a sandwich bag before you band them, you will not feel the snap of the band when you cut it. Also as you are about to release the band place a piece of flexible material under the band (ie zip tie, surgical hose, balloon, etc.) this will give you a good spot to cut the band without cutting yourself.
Alcohol injections work, but are very slow, and in my case were more painfull than banding. I agree with everyone above. Stop do some soul searching and decide if this is really right for you. Then find good counsol, then if you are still sure try chemical castration first! After that have at it. Search the site for alcohol injections, I would stay away from the burdizzo.
I had pain left over from the alcohol injections, so I went to my Urologist. He had no problem taking them off to relieve the pain. He was a little confused on how my nuts shrank and became hard ( I think he has a good suspicion, but he didn't make a big deal of it).
Good luck, but above all be safe.

Yes, banding is bad and excruciatingly painful. So why do it? If you want to be castrated quick is best and the quickest way is...?

In the end, what it comes down to is still requiring medical care on this, even if you succeeded in 'sedating yourself' and doing the damage needed to facilitate castration.
The reality of this is that you are not a farm animal. Back in the day, using an elastrator on baby goats, etc., you would now and then get a case of infection and sometimes lose one. But an animal's body is very different from yours. They heal faster, for one thing, and must have a more aggressive immune system.
Pain matters aside, if you succeed in passing out for a while, you will be left with a rotting mass of tissue attached to you. You risk blood poisoning, and a foul smell. Cut them off yourself later, and if the band(s) come loose, you'll still bleed out. You're going to have to face a trip to the ER, surgery, costs, and possible psych evaluation.
All of this may or may not be covered by insurance, if you can keep your story straight. You could end up with a huge bill to pay on for the rest of your life, and one black mark now is enough to ruin your credit, to say nothing of risking your life.
Banding is a nice fantasy, but in reality, it's not going to work for your own DIY castration.
