Hmmm.... What do you know, it got deleted.

Sorry, "Shenandoah Baptist Church's Pastor Jeff Owens: BURN AND SHOOT FAGS!" was deleted at 11:44:47 Mon May 24, 2010. We have no more information about it on our mainframe or elsewhere.

I guess it must have violated Viemo's community guidelines...

The Internet is a wonderful place, but we have all noticed that it can also provide people with the means to insult and harass others without taking the full responsibility for their words. A community that allows that type of behavior will quickly decay, so we insist that while you are on Vimeo you respect the people you encounter and their videos. You are free to disagree, but you are not free to attack people simply for your amusement. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't say it on Vimeo. If you cannot conduct yourself in a respectful manner, you will be removed.

Content restrictions

No videos that incite hatred, include hate speech, defamatory or discriminatory speech or videos depicting unlawful acts or extreme violence.

Now the question is whether it was just the video that was removed or the whole damn congregation.

Maybe we should have a Hunt-a-hater week...But then, that would be hate...and I don't want to be associated with these people...
Religion...It all sucks...dragonfly

OH MY! YOU HAVE A CAPITOL IDEA THERE! And I (as always) have come up with a brilliant and devious strategy, what's more it will be loads of fun! (Que in diabolical laughter from the super-villain's lair)

Seriously, I think we should have a "hunt" of sorts, NOT with any shotguns or weapons of any sort because as you correctly observe, that would be lowering ourselves to their very very low level.

What I propose is this: A "Hater Hunt" with special bonuses, $$BOUNTIES$$ and trophies for our best "hunters," BUT ABSOLUTELY NO GUNS, KNIVES, ARCHERY OR ANYTHING OF THAT BASE SORT OF HUNTING.

I propose a hunt with video cameras and other means for the purpose of capturing firm and irrefutable proof that any one of these sactimonious hypocrits are in fact the very things they spew hatred at.

I offer a $bounty$ too! And if everyone "passes the hat" around I am pretty sure that $$$BOUNTY$$$ will grow to quite some ammount.

For example, I would be ever so happy and grateful to see some sanctimonious "icon" of the religious right forced to come out of the closet, preferably in a "french maid outfit" with "fuck-me pumps."

Sadly, I am not the first to come up with this idea of a "hunt a hypocrit" thing, if you remember a few years back, when (then) President Bill Clinton was embroiled in "The Monica Lewinsky Affair," the publisher of Hustler magazine, Larry Flint, offered a $1,000,000 reward to anyone who would come forward with a "kiss-and-tell" expos'e story of their affair with any leading Washington D.C. politician.... I thought it was DELICIOUS poetic justice when the "sainted" Newt Gengrich was shown to have had an affair with one of his own staffers, after this HYPOCRIT had been screaming in Congress for President Clinton to resign, it was Newt who had to resign.

Well I am not Larry Flint, I don't have much money at all, but I think we all would love to see some hate filled hypocrits dragged out into the spotlight, so if we "pass the hat" I bet we could offer a pretty damn big bounty for the person who could "bag" us a hater or two.

I will start by pledging $50... no, I will go $100 for the person who can publicly show firm and irrefutable proof the the "Good Pastor Jeff Owens" is in fact taking it up the ass and liking it. Now my $100 is hardly worth the effort, but I bet a LOT of people would love to see that hateful man brought to the TRUE light of love, I would bet there are litterally thousands of us who would love to see the "Good Christian" actually practice the Christian ideal of "loving thy enemy," and I do mean loving. :dong:

SO, THE BOUNTY IS NOW AT $100... Anyone else want to offer a pledge for photographic or video proof that the "Good Pastor" is happily taking it up the ass?

Were it not illegal to do so, I'd be tempted to suggest 'hunting' him with paintball guns. And a nice rainbow selection of paintballs. The one who scores the most hits, wins. Bonus points if you manage to qualify him for membership here, just with those same paintballs.

Years and years ago, Vietnam protesters "marshmallowed" Strom Thurmond at the end of a speech. Those big fluffy white marshmallows rained onto the stage and dear old Strom. The picture ended up in Life Magazine.

And with his bible in one hand he would pass judgment on anybody who does not believe exactly as he does, don't worry about him, if there is a god as he believes, he will get his in the end if not sooner.
