Given the difficulty of surgical castration I opted for Siterone. Testes are small and insensitive to pain; sexual desires and conflicts are gone. Somehow testosterone drove me to almost physically castrating myself. I actually did inflict some physical damage and lots of physical pain towards myself. Fortunately I don't do drugs and still had a little sanity left. Siterone has not only eliminated libido, sexual desire, sexual activity but I think saved me from doing physical harm to myself. I would consider having an unqualified person castrate you the same as doing physical harm to yourself.

Trying to "fake out" the medical profession only causes you to be labeled as a psycho case.

I would encourage anyone who has major cravings to be castrated and/or who is having serious mental, emotional, or physical difficulties because of the overwhelming desire to be castrated to FIRST try Siterone, Androcur etc. and lower your testosterone level.

Follow directions, give it at least six months. Nothing is free of side effects but for me the side effects of the drug and side effects of having a lowered testosterone level far far outweigh the negative and destructive life I was living when I had a high testosterone level. Of course, that's how things were for me and how things worked out. There may be no comparison to your situation and your results may be different and/or you may feel different about the results of a drug like Siterone. I pondered using it for over a year. Now i wish I had known about started using it years ago. Good Luck.

Depending on your background and willingness and ability to be deceptive, there are ways of accomplishing it. Faking a medical condition with real doctors is risky and can land you in the psych ward. If you have any history of crossdressing, it isn't that difficult to find gender therapists, who will sign off on castration. There are no accurate medical tests for transsexuality, so they depend much more on your self reporting. Do your homework, hang out at a few TS support groups, learn the expected answers the therapist will expect, and it can be done. And with the proper paperwork, castration isn't that expensive. There are Drs in Portland (Oregon) and Tacoma who do trans girls for around $1500. Dr Bowers, though more expensive is amazingly empathetic and before she was a SRS surgeon, she knew people in the kink scene.

I would strongly support the advice of others to do a run w/ chemical castration before doing anything irreversible.

Scattered all across North America, there are a few surgeons who will provide an orchiectomy with two letters of referral from trained professionals. There are even a few who will do so with only a single letter. Transward has the right idea about how to go about this until we get Male-to-Eunuch accepted into the DSM-5.

If you think you are Male-to-Eunuch, a bout of chemical castration is essential before anything reversible. If you think you are BIID, the route to find a proper surgeon is much more difficult, though certainly not impossible.
