There can occur a re-bounding effect, as he has described as best he can. The testes and hormone system in general will "over-do" it when trying to compensate for a lack of T. Eventually the body while find a leveling off place. Where that is will depend upon dosage in large measure, as well as time.

My rational for the increase in T at the higher dosage was because I also began taking DHEA, after tests showed that I had a serious case of anemia, which I attributed to the Androcur. It is my understanding that DHEA increases one's T level, especially at an older age.

I do not see any real data that is showing that your hormones are any different from on level of androcur to the other. Just going by effects is not a real test. You can have the effects while your hormones are reduced but not at castration levels. You could have even greater effects if you reduce the hormones more. Blood test is needed to know real levels.
I guess "real levels" is T levels, but as I said I did a blood test and T was higher with higher androcur dosage.
Anyway has anyone else experience higher T levels with higher androcur dosage WITHOUT changing anything else, like adding another drug etc.
How do you find my doctor's explanation about that?
Do I just need to be more patient?

When did you say you had your second and maybe your third or more hormone level test? I would think you would need 3 tests after the first test. How do you know the hormone levels when you made each change. You need time for on change to take place. Would think it would be hard to even get a doctor to give you 3 test in 5 months. Blood test is the only real way to know if the drug is working like you think.

Blood test is the only real way to know if the drug is working like you think.
Lets start:
Fist test: September 0.84 ng/ml
(about 20 days on androcur, 1st week 100mgr, 2nd week 50mgr, 3rd week 25mgr)
Second test: November 2.25 ng/ml
(about two months on 50mgr, my doctor said to stay on this dosage and test again on two months to see if I got to real castration levels since I was almost there with the half dosage)
Third test: January 2.15 ng/ml
(about two months now on 100mgr, but no mental/physical changes, I was prepared for this test result)
Now my doc decided to take 200mgr only two days per week to have a total of 900mgr/week and then have a blood test on Easter.
I finally split my dosages to 25mgr four times a day. That's what I did when I started... I wonder if this would make any difference.
Since the blood test results were almost the same compared to 50mgr/day and 100mgr/day, can be this a sign like my body cannot handle to much dosage at the same time? My doc said that if my body was not able to handle such dosages I would had intestinal problems.

Has anyone taken androcur in an injection? Our 3 ampules have arrived, but I am not able to find anyone taking it as an injection. Any input would be helpful.

Interesting. We ordered from medicine-online.org. 300mg 3ml ampule. 3 of them. The instructions on the site say 1 ampule every 10-14 days.
Would like to chat with someone that has used it this way before we try it.

I only have took androcur pills, check that your source be reliable, I think the parenteral route may be less stressful for the liver, Androcur injectable seems a great idea except for the fact that probably exists some fakes out there, so ,be careful, I don´t know about any androcur injectable of Bayer. Probably such formulations is reserved exclusively for castrating criminals but not to public ...

Thank you Freddyde. We ordered the Androcur from here:
http://www.medicine-online.org/index.ph ... &id_lang=1 . We do not want to take a fake. Was hoping that with it being in an injection form and being easier to take, it would be the real thing. I posted on another thread the full drug description. Am excited to pick it up but worried that it is not going to be usable.
Again thank you for your response Freddyde .
