Looking at real-life criminal violence with a sexual component, the victims usually belong to the gender desired by the perpetrator. Heterosexual men assault women. Homosexual men assault men. Since violence is a sexual act for such men, they choose victims they find desirable. This is, I've read, a rule followed by police looking for serial killers, etc. It might explain the imbalance in EA's stories. Stories written by men from the cutter's standpoint are more likely to be written by homosexual men - a minority. Stories written by women from the cutter's standpoint are more likely to be written by heterosexual women - perhaps a minority at EA.
Another thing - sexual violence and castration may be more common in life than we know in law-bound and regulated societies like ours.
Several years ago, an account was published of testimony in a war crimes trial in Serbia. A Christian and a Muslim man had been rivals for the affection of a woman. The Christian became a guard in a concentration camp where his Muslim rival was a prisoner. He had his former rival drop his pants, and had another Muslim from their village kneel before the naked man. He put a gun to the head of the kneeling man, and demanded he bite off the naked man's testicles or be shot. He bit. The guard received a life sentence, but this is real.
In Albania, the old-time custom was for young men competing to marry a woman to castrate their rivals, and present the testicles to the woman. The women made necklaces of the dried testicles. Long necklaces showed how desirable a woman was, and were status symbols. There are probably many more examples of real life castration, so the fantasies in EA may express urges closer to the surface than we might wish to think.

I just joined the EA this past November. I am new to this EA subculture. When I started reading the stories, I thought I was reading non-fiction. Perhaps it's my small town naivete. Later, I thought the cutter stories were from experienced cutter/writers as in "write what you know." So if these stories are probably written by rather good and imaginative writers, and not experienced cutters, then the fem/dom stories could me more representitive as most cutter stories are homoerotic in my opinion.

Yes, homoerotic.

Wow! Sick and perverted as some would say I am, I never thought of that
My sympathy goes to the rest of the girls who either had to remain single or marry a eunuch. How do you think a wife would feel to see her husband's balls on another girl's necklace?
I can imagine a situation where a group of eunuchs' wives got together and recovered their husbands' balls, and those of the guy(s) who stole them in the first place. Those among us who are into violence could get a good story out of this.

Albania is an Islamic country, and Islam allows a man to have up to three wives. So the winners had multiple wives, and no women married eunuchs. The castrated men probably never married.
That wasn't Albania's only trouble. Since the middle ages, Albanian culture had been dominated by family vendettas. A long book published in the 1600s codified the rules of vendetta, and made it a point of honor for families to kill each other according to the rules. Albanian society was consumed by these blood feuds, with families living in fortified homes. Few families didn't have members who'd been murdered, and vendettas consumed people's attention.
Is it any wonder that Albania became the poorest and most backward country in Europe? It's an object lesson in how cultures can divert people's energies into unproductive obsessions.

I agree that there is an imbalance of stories, and also with the other comment about the need for us to write stories that satisfy the need for the fiction that you desire. I believe there is a fear of writing sadistic fiction, as it could reflect badly on the writer or could be misunderstood as some plan for a real violent act. I trust that we would have heard of such happenings and as we are a relatively isolated group, and I never hear of famous horror writers getting into trouble, then maybe this is a fear without any factual basis.
That being said, I will make an effort to write fiction myself and post it here to prove to myself and others that there is a big difference between fantasy and reality. I also agree that certain things are rarely written about, and I would like to fill that void with my own writings. My fiction would be about penectomy because that is my main fantasy, and it should be unique since I am bi-sexual and slightly more straight than gay. (Maybe 60% str8 / 40% gay.) I have always been attracted to my own penis, but since at my age I can't get close enough to have any real fun, I had to compromise and use the penises of other men (and it is much easier on the back too!)
I invite all members to write and submit stories for each others' enjoyment, and make sure the titles make it easy to find what we are looking for. I myself enjoy the fiction very, very much! I would like to thank the writers of those stories already posted, and please keep writing them!
