I take normal male levels of Testosterone.
I think DHEA is a serious hormone that should be replaced if too low. But I also think that about Testosterone.
The latest thing that I've read is low levels of DHEA can screw up your rem sleep. Increasing them to normal levels can restore REM sleep and this way you will wake rested and feeling better. If you don't know what your DHEA levels are I don't think you should take it.
Talk to your doctor and ask for labs to be done. Then talk about using a cream or patch and adjust the dose (more labs)
