I believe that the doghouse post that applying heat to the testicles will result in temporary neuteriging is wrong. it will result in temporary sterility, in that it will stop the testicles from producing sperm. Yet heating will not stop the testicles from producing testosterone. thus you will still be horny, just unable to impregnate.

Hello,

I know I'm a little late to this discussion, but I'm new around here, and just found this thread.

I actually underwent this procedure for a 90 day period, three times a week. Procedurally, the article is accurate. It can be done with no lasting damage, if the instructions are carefully followed.

I believe it is possible to climax from the super-heating, and I came awfully close a couple of times. However, not climaxing for the 90 days was part of the arrangement by which this was undertaken, so I have no first hand (heh, heh) knowledge of that.

All in all, it was a mixed bag. A very intense experience, but I sure didn't feel "neutered."

Bill

I have enjoyed the sensation of taping my balls (and cock) in my body. I can do that days on end. Sometimes, I feel a little ache in my balls.

No I don't feel neutered. I actually feel quite horny.

O.K.,

The application of heat will stop spermzoa from maturing, but it will not stop Testosterone production.

Try this,

Shave very carefully. Then go to a drugstore and buy those things that a atheletic trainer would use to tape up a sprained anlkle.

Have somebody push you balls up inside you and tale them up in there tightly.

It should last two or three days. Then, pull it off in a HOT bath, shave and start over again. (...no, silly, I mean the tape...) ;)

I looked for "short scrotom elastrator castration animal" and only found a ~1995 pdf from UK.

beefandlamb.ahdb.org.uk/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/theshort

I was not sure if a rubber ring was used and if testicle still made T.

I think rancher find it easier to place ring next to body to remove it all regardless of pain.

Interesting idea.

From Wikki:

Heat-based contraception

An experimental male contraceptive method involves heating the testicles so that they cannot produce sperm. Sperm are best produced at a temperature slightly below body temperature. The muscles around a male's scrotum involuntarily tighten if the man's body temperature drops, and they loosen, allowing the testes to hang, if the body temperature rises. This is the body's way of keeping the sperm at an ideal temperature.[citation needed] Although research has not addressed methods of applying heat, sperm production can be disrupted with increased temperature.[1] Some suggest exposure to high temperatures (116!°F) can affect fertility for months.[2]

Methods used include hot water applied to the scrotum, heat generated by ultrasound, and artificial cryptorchidism (holding the testicles inside the abdomen) using specialized briefs. One of the initial experiments resulted in partial infertility lasting more than four years.[3] Initial experiments suggest it is effective and safe, though there have not been long-term studies to determine if it has any side effects on the body after reversal. The optimal heat level and time period of exposure are not known.

One method under investigation is ultrasound, which involves the application of high-frequency sound waves to animal tissue, which in turn absorb the sound waves’ energy as heat. The possibility for ultrasound’s use for contraception is based on the idea that briefly heating the testes can halt sperm production, leading to temporary infertility for about six months. Additionally, ultrasound could affect cells’ absorption rates of ions, which itself could create an environment unfavorable to spermatogenesis. Its extremely localized effects on animal tissues make ultrasound an attractive candidate for research, but so far studies have only been performed on non-human animals, such as dogs.[4]

this of course, is for contraception only, however possibilities may reveal themselves in long term treatment

Then again, perhaps using a T.E.N.S unit on them may help encourage some nifty results.. :P
