Well, you believe in them, I know them personally, I do not claim to be a Liberal (yet), I do claim to be a Democrat having left the GOP when they lost there way. I hope they find it again some day when they realize that being the minority of the political extreme from the right and find there way back to common sense. BUT its way to late for me, I am very happy saying I am a Democrat, I eat meat, I ware leather, I kill flys.

There was a time, in this country, when the term "liberal" meant neither right wing nor left, a moderate, a centrist, someone who believes that the balance of personal liberty along with essential social fairness can be achieved in this country by using the politics of "what works". When did we loose that sense? When did we forget the goal?

The Republican Party could stand a few strategic 'amputations'. Let us start with the Fox PROPAGANDA channel, and then move on to Rush Speedball, and finish up with some congressmen from places where the family trees have no branches...

Before you know it, the Republicans might be able to do something politically significant besides throw a tea party for 2 million imbeciles. Makes you wonder how many of them are on disability, SSI or a state welfare roll. I mean, who else could get time off from a job that has no medical insurance or benefits or labor union to go to Washington to march for the rich folks?

Man, Washington D.C. hasn't seen so many IDIOTS in one place since the Ku Klux Klan marched on Washington in the 1930's.

I think that would be true of that congressman from South Carolina I am sure his tree only has one branch.
