I'm on androcur for about 20 days and I found the last thee days, I do not have morning erections at all. Is this sign enough that I have low enough T levels?
"low enough" for what? To be free of the physical or emotional affects of testosterone, or both? Partially, or completely?
Remember to read and heed the instructions for the medication. This stuff is not a sugar substitute. There are side effects and consequences other than just not having night time erections.

Shadowspine:
welcome to the club.
I have never used DP so I cannt really talk about that, but in regards to Androcur or its generic, I have been taking it for almost 2 years. Liver toxicity isnt a concern as long as you follow the recommend dose and that you didnt have anyother liver problems. In terms of getting tested, I just ask my Doc to add it to the routine blood work I get done.

Thank you clysmaniac and DavidB for reply. I thought DP castration was going to be expensive cuz the judical protocols use something like 300-500mg WEEKLY

or so I heard~. It's hopeful to hear that 100mg Spironolactone and monthly DP can bring T down to 100 though
I worry about the liver cuz I also take accutane and a bunch of vitamin pills and antihistamine. Androcur 's blood clotting is kind of scary too. It is said long term use of Androcur will be continuously/progressively damaging? I hope that's not true
If I go for a T level test and get a result under 100, that'd be nice but the doctors would get curious wouldn't they? Cuz im self administrating everything, even the shots
I looked at Inhouse Drugstore and they do have good prices, although I couldn't find many reviews about them. Are they reliable and able to ship to US without trouble of seizure?

I did a blood test today, for liver function and T. When I went back to get the results(I was very stressed) the doc asked me straight "do you take hormones?". I answered positive. The results show that my T is 0.846 ng/ml and typical values for male are between 3-11 ng/ml. She told me that born females have maximum T around 0.500 ng/ml and I have a bit more T than a born female.
"If that's what you want to achieve you are on the road..." she said. She also advised me to be monitored by endocrinologist for health reasons. I told her that I want to find an endocrinology but I do not know anybody(in Greece) who's specialized to gender issues. She told me that she knows some docs and will ask them about me.
My liver is fine and I'm really excited about the results. I'm less than a month on Androcur, I'm only taking 25mgr/day and I'm almost on castration T values.

Inhouse is absolutely reliable , both in my personal experience and in chatting with others. I used meds from them for nearly three years and only had an issue with one shipment and that one seemed to get lost in our customs. Inhouse sent me a replacement orded when the original order didn't arrive. Eventually the delayed parcel did arrive and I sent it back. They were very understanding.
Absolute numbers are not necessarily important when looking at testosterone lab numbers. There are two diffening measurement systems and labs have their own normal values. My feeling is if you are only at 1/3rd of their lower value you are pretty low and if you get down to 1/4 of their lower value, you are at a castrate level. My lab uses a range of 280-1080 so 100 would be below the 1/3 minimum level and 44 would be below the 1/4 level. Mantonis is close to the 1/4 level as well (0.846 with 3 being the low range of normal)

That's really awesome, mantonis. And your doctor's so understanding
I'd probably have to self administrate my T tests too, which would be some great fun. i used to volunteer in a biology lab that does ELISA all the time, where i guess i could easily have carried out an underground T test~ im a bit sorry about quitting there now
Any idea about the reliability of those T level kits availabe online? The kits test saliva which I am feel doubtable about, cuz there should be a reason why standard lab tests don't use saliva
And thank you clysmaniac for the info about Inhouse. I'll buy from them once I force my credit card to pay them

I guess that 0.846 ng/ml is like 84 g/ml when others say that you must below 100. Your lab might measure 280 in g/ml like my lab which measure 3 in ng/ml. Anyway
I live in Greece and Androcur (Cyproterone) is cheaper than siterone of inhouse. I buy it for 44 Euros and I can find it in every local pharmacy store without the need of prescription. Here in Greece nobody asks you for prescription...
My prolactine is also too high 37.15 ng/ml which normal values for males is around 4.04-15.2. The doc on the lab said that this is normal since I'm taking hormones. She told me that my prolactine is more than on females and if it gets higher, it is possible to have breasts growth. I'm happy that I found at least a microbiologist lab doc that understands me and want to help me. I will go to her lab next week to ask her about the endocrinologist she told me that she would look for... I will let you know.
Oh, I'm sorry for my bad english, I hope that you understand...

I found that androcur makes me want to go to the toilet to piss at least one time at night, every night. It's very annoying because I lose my sleep. Is this dangerous? Can I do something to stop it?

That is not reported as a side effect. Many others may have it but just do not mention it. Perhaps you prostrate is changing size and that may be the cause. You may want to drink less liquid before bed.
