Thank you for another possible way to view the images. The direct link does not always work - sometimes you have to try more than once or cut and past the link. Tried your method and it works.

I believe Yahoo/Geocites and possibly a few others block access to images that are referred to remotely. They do that to reduce strain on servers and Network Bandwidth. Besides they want you to browse the website, so they can put in banners and popup Advertisements.

When you put the link in, it probably tested out OK for you, since the image was already cached on your computer.

Interesting picture! As I understand it, true hermaphrodites (with a full set of male genitals and female genitals) are rare. Since the diagram labels them in the plural, it sounds like she has a total of 4 gonads (2 testicles and 2 ovaries).

But with that particular configuration of genitals, I think it would be impossible for her to reproduce as a male (at least without medical help), since the testicles are located inside the body where it's too hot for sperm production. The diagram didn't show her having a prostate gland, which I believe is what generates semen.

Her female reproductive organs seem to be complete, though. She has ovaries, uterus and vagina. I wonder if she menstruates.

It looks like she doesn't have any labia minora, since the tissue for that would presumbly be the skin of the penis.

I'm guessing that her breast development was less than a typical woman due to hormonal differences.
