Hi All,
I have read some of your posts about how your penis shrinks on Androcur. I also read that Androcur results are reversible upon discontinuation but am wondering will my penis size return to normal? Also will wet dreams stop on androcur? Thanks
I was on Androcaur for 6 months and went from 6" to 5", 12 months later the size has not returned with erections. It took 3 months for me to start getting erections.
I was taking 100mg daily.

I take it that after taking an antiandrogen for a few months your hormone levels will go back to normal but any change in penis size is permanent.
It looks like androcur will shrink your penis .25 inches in 1.5 monthes at 100mg/day and I've read that dutasteride will shrink it the same amount in 3 months at .5mg/day
Now, is spirolacetone the same as androcur as in you'll have the same effects with both the same dosage and time frame?

Do all of you take antiandrogen without a doctor? I heard most people go DIY. How dangerous is this? gangly mentioned that is taking androcur for two years, is he monitored by a doctor. I'm taking androcur the last 20 day. I started with 100mgr but I lower to 75mgr and the to 50mgr because I felt some molestation on the upper side of the stomach. I want to go to a doc but I do not know where to start...
The good news is that I do not have morning erections these days, and I'm just taking 50mgr.... I'm 29 years old if that matters....

I've been on and off estrogens for 10 year and was getting intermittent stiffies in the middle of the night and persuaded my doc I wanted to go all the way and take siterone . The government allows it to be perscribed for sexual deviations and my doc said I qualified but would have to sign a form to exclude any blame to him and a form to say I wanted it permanently and wasn't messing around. He filled in a special perscription to start me on 100mg twice a day and I started last week. My blood test shows my testosterone levels are nearly zero and I am very tired and haven't had an erection for the last 3 days and am waiting to see how much everything schrinks by --I'm told 25-50%.The surprise thou was when I went to the pharmacist they didn't have any and said they had to register me --I wasn't listening and wanted out so just ran out and came back after they rang me.With my luck there were only women there and it took two to find where my siterone had been put as they thought it must be for prostate cancer --and I had to tell them why--they asked me if I was registered --and I got worried --for what --'as a sexual deviant ' and I had to admit yes --and they found the paperwork saying yes and told me it was permanent and I would need to stay on it until my doc said I could stop and the police gets copies of all cases of sexual deviancy and if I wasn't taking it they would visit and investigate as I admitted many times to my doc my sexual urges were difficult to control .Both women said it took a year at least and my balls would never grow again .By this time others were behind me and listening and looking and I took my drugs and ran when they said that dose means that I was a medical eunuch and it was only when.I visited my doc who agreed and said I had to have regular blood tests and examinations until then and the police have reviewed my records and knew all about me and would visit if I didn't follow the instructions--but to be a sexual deviant!!??

No, I buy Siterone from 'In house pharmacy', Have not been to a doctor regards taking this, BUT, having said that, I have had blood tests, liver function tests etc for general health purposes, and all is good.

i am about to switch from Spironoloctone to Siterone (which will hopefully arrive today) and will let you know how it proceeds.
The Spiro worked, but I would prefer to use Siterone as i believe it to be more effective, and does not have the blood pressure lowering or diuretic effects.
I am also on 2 x Estroderm 100 patches , renewed twice a week, which will add to the t-blocking/lowering effect.
i am not seeing a Doc at the moment but am investigating the avenue of having a blood test done.
I am and feel in perfect health.

Will penis size return.........?
Why is this important? The whole point of taking androcur or siterone is so that you can live a life that is free of the side effects of testosterone.
Once the libido is in remission, you may very well not care one microchip about sex, or penis size.
Anyone who is concerned or worried about loosing penis size may be in the wrong ballpark and should re-consider taking any drug that is going to affect sexuality.
The whole point of androcur and siterone is to be free of the burden of testosterone, regardless of whether or not the testicles and/or penis shrink. They are just collateral damage in an otherwise higher goal.

I had the same thought as nollorchis when reading this question. I expected and have seen a noticeable reduction in size and have attributed it to a lack of daily erections. If I ever decide to stop and become regularly sexually active again, I expect that my size will increase but to what extent I don't know or care. It seems to me that if this was a concern of mine that I would not be taking androcur in the first place.

i am taking siterone without a perscription, because you just arent going to get one if your desire is to go M-E, but I told my doctor what i am taking so that he can monitor my health correctly. He wasnt thrilled with, but understands and is supportive. If your doc isnt, find a new doc.
