I hate to say this so bluntly but been there and don't ever want to go back there. I don't think you (or I or anyone) can make a blanket statement like that. Its just not true!

its true for me. I guess its different for everyone. Did not mean to offend. For me I have lived both ways and prefer life on low T. Maybe its my age. I don't need to compete or breed anymore and I prefer being less confrontational than I was. I was a real red neck and only saw one point of view, now I have a more live and let live attitude.

The only problem with that observation is that both testosterone and rank are BOTH positively coorelated with age. I read another study that tracked T with rank and leadership and it showed that cadets with the highest levels of T were much more likely to advance faster than their peers. I will have to see if I can find that study again.

Sounds like every government official should be castrated. Maybe then we could get something accomplished!

Maybe it should be a mandatory thing...to even be allowed to run for office you need to be a eunuch first! Oh, sorry, or a woman.

The more I think about this the more advantages I can imagine!!

Recall that throughout history (the Byzantines come to mind), several governments reserved high positions for eunuchs only. Perhaps it's a good idea...

THAT IS TRULY A GREAT IDEA!

I really do believe that would be a great idea, and so help me, if I ever know of any eunuch running for office, unless he is a total idiot, I would probably vote for any eunuch running for any office.

How about it? We start thinking out our campaign strategy now for the upcomming 2012 presidential race... "NO testicles in the oval office and a chicken in every pot..."

Any studies that involve testosterone levels and behavior should most certainly be categorized by age, and perhaps even race/ethic group and maybe even nationality. Just comparing T levels and behavior and smiles of "men", without considering race/ethnic and age will yield non-comparable results and would be a waste of research money and time (in my opinion). People all over the world in different nations, of different race, even religion, and upbringing have different behavior, regardless of age or T level.
