Hi OneBallBoi,

You are one of the most gentle and kind people I have met from the Archive. I never once, over the several days we spoke at the last Midwest MoM, got the idea that you are stupid. Just like the rest of us, you have your own gifts. One of those is helping folks feel comfortable with who they are.

Hugs,

Danya

OneBallBoi don't get upset over a typo, hell everyone on this board have made a typo or spelled something incorrectly. I know I have, and I'm not afraid to admit that. We're all human, and we make a mistake every once in a while, nothing to be hard on yourself over.

When you hit the reply button, a window opens to post a reply. Just to the right of that window is a check mark with ABC above it. If you hit that button it will spell check your response. True, it will not catch the dreaded homonyms (there, their, they're; to, too, two; etc.) but it will help a lot.

There is no shame in being a bad speller. Lots of very bright people are lousy spellers. But with the widespread availability of free online spell checkers, sending out a reply with bad spelling and grammar shows contempt for your audience, not to mention making it too easy for them to dismiss your opinion out of hand.

This I would think would be particularly important for those who claim to speak for the almighty. If you are speaking for the Big Guy, you need to be very sure that what you say is clear and easily understood. All too often the opposite is the case.

Transward

Thanks Transward. The last few days, I found out what problems we are creating to each other on this board by talking in riddles. As it is a place for many non-native english readers, we all should take some lessons from Squirt* and say what we have to say.

Speaking for the Big Guy, tricks one out very easy as it is scaring to speak for him. It just invites one to go around in circles.

Maybe it will not be easy to get rid of the riddles, but maybe we should all remember this when we are posting.

So just another one saying that I am a dumb bell for not using the spell checker.. I know I am stupid, I don't need everyone to keep re-inforcing it.

Hey OneballBoi, You are not quoting. Who is that other one that is saying that you are a dumb bell. I hope you don't think that I had the intention to say so.

If I know that you know that you are stupid, I am not going to say that to you, and I am not going to believe you just like that.

Are you stupid??? Please ask them to make a correction to this mistake:

I always write goot wrong! They are allowed to use the spelling checker

Lets find out who is dumb..............(LOL)

I remember the old "5 and Dime" store in town had a pay toilet. Grandma always told me to crawl under.
