My tastes are sooooooo widely varied that it must seem bizarre to others what sorts of music I like. Here are just a FEW of my favorites:
DAMN THESE WOMEN LOOK GOOD!

This is a really lame video, but the song is super... SOMEBODY call a choreographer for this "Basia" woman! "Paging Janet Jackson to the set! Emergency dancing lesson - STAT!"

(By the way, in her later videos she actually does dance a bit.)

This one is good for cheering me up and waking me up.

I have been in love with this song ever since General Jaruzelski cracked down on Lech Walesa.

This is a PERFECT instrumental adaptation of "Try a little tenderness," at the beginning of one of the greatest movies of all time.

And of course, I love everything Enigma, so here is one of my fav's of theirs

Ah! I paged Miss Jackson and here she is, now this is a good video with a great song!

I wish the sound was better on this oldie that I really love, but the grainy sound actually lends it's own special amdience to this old WONDERFUL song

FINALLY (I know, you are all wishing to come to the END of this long and bizarre list of my musical favorites), I have loved everything by Steely Dan, and Donald Fagen, and ever since I was a child (17 year old), I have taken my identity from their song "Deacon Blues." Yep, this is the song, where I have found the nickname that I like the most.

Re: Now Playing...
Maybe Im strange, but I just finished listing (and singing along) to a CD by the Rinken Band, an Okinawan group that sings in Uchina-guchi, a language related to Japanese about as closely as German is related to English. I was walking on my treadmill at the time. Two of my favorites from the album are on Youtube:
Miha na gumi
Sirakumu
Now that Im sitting at my computer, Im listening to a CD of selected dances from Terpsichore by Michael Praetorius (composed 1612, and consisting of over 300 dances):

Re: Now Playing...
I'd really like to answer this question with something esoteric, or at least that I read this thread a few hours ago when I could have answered with the at least reasonably classy answer Miles Davis' "On The Corner";
But nooooo.... I have to see this when I've got one of my guiltiest pleasures in the CD player; nobody is home in the rental suite, so I'm blasting the snot out of
Metallica, "... And Justice For All"
