If this is true?? This sounds worse then doing it yourself with a plyers and a blowtorch...

Whaa, that would mean if I have Thep work on it, I can always visit the Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh, as this time they will have a medical indication to help me......on second thoughts better not.

Thanks MRT

And remember, all the good surgeons from India are FROM India and they are now in the USA. Even native people in India have few rights or recourse when something goes wrong. In many matters of life, personal referrals are worth gold. Seek out those who have experienced a product or service before taking the plunge. Act not in desperation but in prudent ways AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT.......for it does.

I respectfully beg to differ. I know of one guy working in a country where I got my joke screen name who needed very serious heart surgery. He did a lot of checking around. He could get it done in the US or Britian for very high five or even six figures while in India it was the lowest five figures. He got to looking at the surgeons and all were London certified. He had his surgery done in India and was very heppy with the results and ecstatic over the bill.

You have to be picky about the clinic and doctor. On that I would definitely agree. But that applies both to overseas and in the US. Once you have satisfied yourself of the doctor and clinic's competence, you can get medical work done overseas for a very tiny fraction of what it costs in the US.

If you do not do your homeowrk, you should heed Chilli's warning.

Myself and several others chose a certain well known US doctor for castration - bad choice as it turned out. And he had a good reputation....

Now how do you go about finding a reputable foreign doctor?

My thoinking is that only quacks do voluntary orchiectomies.

Aren't all of them "Volentary?" I guess I understand that you mean those who want one outside of medical reasons.

They are all excellent doctor and know what they are doing and I think can help.

Well, I was generalizing, which I should be more careful about. But then I did say "good" surgeons. The happy customer above apparently got a great surgeon.

Are there any cruise lines for surgery outside the US? Like offshore hospitals?

Off shore surgery? Even if we all got together and "pooled" our money, I doubt that we could buy such an option. But it is sure a hopeful thought. If it could only be true. Sign me up. (I've always wondered what happens to testicles that are removed. Do you get to save them, or what?).

They go to a lab to be checked out then are tossed as medical waste.
