Since i live in a cold country and i can't keep a blanket over me, i rediscovered the footed PJ after a bowel surgery when i was unable to wear pants.

At that time i only had one footy (light blue with teddybears) that i used originaly for a Hallowen party.

My friends know i'm not feeling good when they found me in my house in one of theses pj in the middle of the day.

I had one of my most embarrasing moments when i had to be rushed to the hospital but i forgot to change my pj before leaving. i only put pants over...

The doc got one hell of a time when he saw me in a blue footed pj...

During summer i only wear ultra long t shirt

Yoli here, with the female perspective.

I often sleep in the nude but since I prefer to sleep in arctic temperatures I usually crawl into bed wearing a long flannel nightie and socks. The socks are not so much for warmth but rather because I apply lotion to my feet each night and socks keep the stuff on my feet and off the linens. I'm really proud of my feet and want to keep them soft and beautiful.

During warm weather I set the thermostat at 55F and about the same in the winter. It drives Ash(leigh) nuts but that's just too darned bad.

Now, if Ash(leigh) and I are going to make love I raise the temp a bit so that I won't mistake a goosebump for one of her nipples😄

Since NO men are ever allowed in my bed (Barry and I "play" in the Big House. Ditto for when BG and WOBG are in town or when my snipped ladyboy friend visits.) I have heard no complaints about temperature from a guy.

I always sleep naked :dong:. I only wear pyjamas when a share a room/house with someone who is not an intimate friend. Mostly pyjamas begin to irritate very soon and I take them off and lay them beside my pillow or on a chair - putting them on when I go to the bathroom or get up in the morning ( I'm shy :( ).

I only wear a sweatshirt and sox in the winter and just a t-shirt in the summer , no bottoms, however they are close in case of an emergency. In winter i have a few blankets on the bed to stay warm, i usually keep the house at 65 in the winter and in summer the air about 72. If an intruder happens not to kill themselves getting into my house, what's waiting upstairs will.

Paula.

Did it ever cross your mind that if your house is on fire your pajama's can ignite way easier than your skin? You may in fact end up with severe burns because you were wearing flamable clothes.

BTW: If you are making decisions about what you wear based on fire risk? You are way too worried about fire.

PS

I wear a nightgown to bed because I love how it feels.

I usually sleep in my underwear and nothing more, at least at home.

I have slept in more clothes only when we were camping at the shore of White Sea (it was cold even at the end of summer). Brrr...

for 15 years I slept in my warm weather BDU bottoms, they were so comfy. I slept so peacefully with my 2.5 inch nickle plated .357 mag, loaded with hollow points, under my pillow. I was worried about someone breaking into my car...if entry was attempted I would easily be awoken from the back seat.

The short answer to that question is NO. I wear the same pajamas that I was born in and have done so for the last 25 years except when visiting other people on holidays, group outings, or group situations like barracks then it is just briefs and a T shirt. I always ended up having the pajamas wound up around legs and arms cutting off the circulation and otherwise just getting in the way. There the feeling of freedom sleeping in the nude and my wife thinks I make a good bed warmer.
