It's been almost 3 years and it still feels strange and empty. Mens underwear doesn't fit well. In the summer whats left of my sack is uncomfortable and always sticking to my leg. I understand why many have the scrotum removed now! My scrotum was damaged in an accident and most of the right side is missing. The ER doctors had to remove the left testicle and didn't trim that side in case I wanted to get an implant. What good is one implant? Does that look any more normal than none at all?

Someday I might get brave and have things neatened up if my insurance would cover it

If you get a uro surgeon who is willing to do the procedure, have him classify it as "reconstructive." Should go through. Insurance usually will pay for implants - male and female - so why not deconstructive reconstruction?

Since my testes feel no pain, are numb, I kind of know what it is like to have none. I can sit any which way, bicycle, do whatever and have virtually no sensation of having testes. I have no sensation or pain even in the connecting cords. But of course they are still there so they do press against other parts and create resistance.

When I touch myself my hand feels my scrotum, my scrotum feels my hand, my hand feels my testes but my testes do NOT feel my hand. It is an odd feeling, as if I have replacements, so I kind of know what replacements might feel like.

Hearing others describe their ball free experiences just heightens my desire to join the club. I ache with desire to join the club and be ball-free. So frustrating to not be able to easily have this done.
