I have a question. Do you HAVE to have the cut end of the urethre (the part that is cut for the reroute) sealed or can it be left open? granted, there would be a space the length of the part removed for the reroute so I was wondering if that could be left open thus having an opening at each end of your penis? I would love to have a reroute but have wondered about what to do with the end that is snipped. I have seen pictures of someone who had a reroute and both ends were open so he could run a plastic tuve down it and sip coke through the tube making the coke run through his penis. Just wondering. Since I don't have a scrotum any longer, I was wondering about a reroute.:)

No, it needn't be closed at all. If look at the picture that I reference above, you can readily see that both ends have to be open for the ring pass down the urethra. If you look closely, you can see where the ring was welded shut. Actually, it is probably better to have both ends open for sanitary reasons.
