River and I have adventures everyday:
Trying to get out of bed.
Attempting to dress in a way that hides our gut.
And trying to hide all of our wrinkles.
Then again, I don't look forward to getting as old as River

God you said a mouth full.
Today has been a bad day, had my roller, (thats a walker with wheels and breaks) cane, staff, walls anything to hold on to, Right now I am in lots of pain just sitting.
Now the reason I bring this up is I know MacWolf is in a lot worse shape then I am big gut and all.
Getting old is not what its cracked up to be.

Hey you guys with the exception of DeaconBlues,Blaise, and Chilliwilli you sound like a bunch of pansy.

I have had Rocky mountain oysters when I was in Colorado for convenion( model trains). The hotel had them as an appetizer. They tasted like veal

I really like them. I was enjoying them so much I had trouble eating at the banquet. That was back when I could really eat.

_______Ernie of Maine__________;)
You know, I have had them. At least, I think that I had them. Would they have been fried? I think that they were delicious. I think that they did taste like veal. I have not eaten veal in years and don't recall how it tastes. I have not had testicles from any other animals. But I think that they wouild be good.
Living in Louisiana, you learn that a lot of foods are good. I have not eaten insects knowingly but most probably in reality I have eaten them. I eat crawfish and I know that many people think that is close to eating roaches. But they are close to enjoying lobster.

LOL, I have prepared hundreds of pounds of mountain oysters.
I used to work as a chef at a hotel with a nice restaraunt/bar and live music year round.
At roundup time, the cowboys would bring me buckets and buckets of calf nuts.
I would peel them, freeze them, slice em up, then batter dip/fry em for a big Bull Fry Sunday. It was usually the busiest Sunday of the year.
They are actually pretty good with a little horseradish sauce or cocktail sauce.
The calf nuts have a little sifter texture than the bull nuts.
I have seen bull nuts as big as softballs, the calf nuts are about the size of large human nuts.

If you place a crock of testicles in a microwave will they cook, or just explode?
If they explode will it be like popcorn, or just one ugly mess?
Better not travel to one of those countries where they kill anything and everything just to acquire aphorisiacs. You might wind up loosing your balls and your life.
