If you get rid of LA, where will all of the residents of LA move?
Maybe to where you live !
The Oil industry is like a great big strong hand.
And we, the people, are nuts.
And the hand is squeezing the nuts.
Ouch.

My truck used 5 gallons of gas to travel 5 miles tonight; I need it.
I also need 4 new tires now, though, and probably a drive shaft and some serious transmission work.
WTF ?
Drag racing again? Pulling contest with M-1 Tanks?

Maybe to where you live? where do you think they came from?
When I was born SFV had about 50,000 people. you went from one little town to another through the farming fields and orange groves. when I got out of high school the farms were gone and 1.5 million lived there. Now if they left and went back to where they came from and took there families with them SFV would have about 10,000 people, because all of us natives have left.

On dry wells, we leave the fluids in place. On production wells, we pump the fluid into pools that dry and are buried. At least, I think that is what we do. I have been out of the business 30 years!.Arab Nights (imported) wrote: Sat Aug 23, 2008 9:35 pm They don't re-inject to maintain reservoir pressure and get rid of the stuff?

OH, come on Sag, I hope they don't ever dig another oil well again either but unlike you on this I want my government to promote and fuel, renewable fuel options. You and I will never see it but OIL will run out, its going to happen in the next 50 years give or take, its going to get worse. So you say we should pump all the worlds oil out of the ground so you can have gas, for how long, at what price, how many wars are you ready to fight to get it? This is not a new issue but we are starting to run out it is time to come up with something else, because if we don't we will be walking to LA.
God I don't believe I just said that, its sounds like I am playing the FEAR card that the Republicans are so good at.
However, The world is running out of oil, we have already used over half of it.
When it is gone, what are you going to use?
The clock is ticking.

No I am saying we need to shut down all gas stations and get this country where Congress wants it.They say we need wind and other energy and they are working on this in their policys. So lets get this new energy going and we will all be much more secure. If a few people get hert along the way they dont seam to care so we need to get behind this.
No what I am saying is we need to get behind congress and shut this oil busness down so the country will be more secure.
What I am saying is we should do as congress wants and shut this oil busness down and finaly make this country strong again. We need big wind and solar that will save us.
