One turned to me and asked if I would like a bordeaux and I said I would love one. More laughter this time at my expense. The next question was "how many times would you like one?" and I said "every night after leaving here". Finally someone said I thought only women used them. I turned and asked "are you talking about bidets"? They thought for a minute and realized the word was bidet. I explained I thought they meant a red wine. They giggled some more and I do not think their mental image was of me relaxing with a glass of red wine.

...shouda asked them if they ever had a 'swirlly' from a bordeaux...

Oh, SORRY, I meant a BORDELLO...

...that is where NASTY CUNTS like them are usually cleaned up... after they are all used up...

I have found this thread quite SHOCKING!

You make some valid points. I was concerned about the electricity usage for one. However, the hygiene benefits are amazing. Also, having your clogged septic tank dug up and replaced will cost you a lot more than $400.

The Japanese electric toilet seat is a whole lot better than a bidet.
