I remember in 01 early to mid spring my sister took me deep sea fishing off the fl. Coast the capt told us that if anyone had any bananas to get read of them before we boarded didn’t bring any better luck though the closest thing to a fish was a Wright whale 150 yards to our rear

Dose any one know the origin of the banana being a jinx

Now and then, depending on venue and audience, I'll eat a banana in a "Special" way. The process of slowwwwwwwleeeeee peeling, sniffing, tentatively tasting with the tip of my little pink 'n pointy tongue, (then a little lick or two,) all culminating in some, well, you know, has been known to cause strong men to have to leave the room lest they embarrass themselves.
